Work Text:
Fulbright smiled as he watched Simon try to walk through the snow. "Simon, come on! It's only a few feet."
The prosecutor stared at him. "How are you so comfortable in the snow? I mean, you're wearing shorts in thirty-degree weather."
That made the detective laugh. "I was born in the freezing winter from the brutal weather of the northeastern United States. Most people where I'm from tend to dress like this during the winter, so maybe you just need to toughen up."
Simon sighed, then laughed. "Why did that actually motivate me?"
Fulbright smiled. "Because I'm the best."
