As Alice entered the washroom she could hear someone was being pushed against the door of one of the stalls. Chuckling to herself she was about to enter the other empty stall as she heard a moan that sounded a lot like Dani. Alice stopped in her tracks as if rooted to the floor, she thought back again. Gigi said she wouldn't be there for another hour and Dani had left their table about 15 minutes prior. It couldn't be that it was Dani she thought to herself when suddenly she heard another moan.
"Fuck Golnar," she heard in hushed whispers and there was no denying that this must be Dani. She heard the voice of the other woman often enough to know that she was right. Alice rushed out of the washroom and back to their table.
"Nat has Gigi texted you when she'd be here?" Alice asked interrupting all conversation at the table. Nat shook her head and looked at her girlfriend confused.
"I just… boy… I was and Dani was and Gigi isn't," Alice tried. She couldn't formulate a sentence. Couldn't believe that Dani, sweet Dani, would cheat on Gigi especially after what happened with Sophie and at Dana's of all places where everyone could, would find out.
"Take a few sips and a calming breath and tell me what happened," Nat said and offered her own glass of water. Alice took it but placed it back on the table before she reached for Bette's freshly arrived Martini. "Trust me this won't cut it," she said pointing to the water after she emptied the Martini in one go.
"Okay so, I wanted to go to the washroom right, and I heard someone getting some in one of the stalls and then I heard Dani but it wasn't Gigi she was with," Alice rushed out. The whole table gasped, except Shane who groaned and rolled her eyes.
"What? Dani wouldn't do that," Sophie immediately jumped to her defence.
"I just heard it Sophie, trust me she is doing it right now," Alice muttered but Sophie refused to believe it.
"Slow down, slow down, how do you know it's not Gigi," Bette asked. She looked slightly alarmed herself. She was happy when she heard that Gigi and Dani had found one another, so hearing that Dani was cheating on Gigi didn't sit right with her.
"I cannot quite believe she'd do that," Bette added before she took the olive out of her now empty glass and took it between her lips. It was that moment that Dani reappeared at the table, calm and collected as if she didn't just have sex in the washroom. She had a new drink in her hand and sat down at her seat between Bette and Alice. The whole table looked at her then at Alice and at her again.
"Did I miss something?" Dani asked as more seconds of tension filled silence passed by.
"You know what you missed," Alice said accusingly. Dani looked at her confused.
"Come on Dani, I've heard you," Alice continued but Dani kept her pokerface on.
"Alice, darling what exactly did you hear, because to me it seems Dani is slightly confused," Nat offered softly.
"As I said, I heard Dani getting some with someone called Golnar, why the hell does no one believe me," Alice said and was even more confused as Nat started laughing out loud. It seemed like Nat wouldn't stop anytime soon which made the whole table look at her in confusion. Dani couldn't help herself but smirk slightly.
"Nat I know you and Gigi had your differences but I don't think it's funny being cheated on," Alice said in shock. Nat tried her best to calm down but wasn't able to. Just when Alice was about to lash out towards Nat and Dani, Gigi appeared at the table.
"Hey everyone," she said smiling before she leaned in to place a kiss on Dani's lips. A kiss that might have lasted longer if it hadn't been for the audience they had.
"This is getting interesting," Sophie whispered to Finley which earned her a glare from Dani.
As Nat finally calmed down she looked at Dani still smiling.
"Are you gonna tell her or should I?" Nat said and looked towards Dani smiling. Dani smirked once more before she turned towards Gigi.
"Gigi, love, I have to confess something," she said softly.
"No shit, it's true?!?" Finley all but screamed.
"Go on," Gigi said confusedly, ignoring the rest of the table.
"Alice just caught me in the washroom," Dani said trying hard not to smile. Nat tried her best not to laugh which earned her a glare from the rest of the table. Gigi looked at Dani motioning for the brunette to continue.
"She caught me moaning Golnar while being at it," Dani said unable to hide her smile. Gigi looked at her scandalized.
"Are you telling me that you, Dani Núñez, have cheated on me at Dana's with a woman called Golnar?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. Dani looked down and played with her rings before she nodded softly. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation. No one could believe that one Dani would do it and two that she would simply say it out loud in front of everyone. The confusion around the table grew but eventually not just Nat but also Gigi started laughing again.
"Okay I feel like I'm missing something here," Alice eventually said after Dani joined the laughter.
"Alice, sweety, you really do," Gigi said once she could stop laughing.
"Come on put them out of their misery," Nat said as Alice looked at her again.
"Okay okay, so Alice has it ever occurred to you that Gigi does not sound like a real name," Gigi asked and waited for a reaction from anyone around the table. It was Shane who connected the dots first. She got up and pointed her finger towards Gigi "I hope you cleaned up after yourself." Shane made her way over to the bar but turned around halfway, "also can you all please stop fucking in my bar?" The table laughed for a moment, all apart from Alice who still was too confused to understand anything. Gigi looked at Nat and at Dani again before she pulled her purse out and placed her driver's license in front of Alice. Alice took it in her hand and as realization dawned on her she looked at Gigi, "but why didn't you say hello? Or come out with Dani?"
Gigi smiled softly at her girlfriend before she answered.
"When I was outside I texted Dani and she replied that she was on her way to the washroom so I thought I would take the opportunity to say hello to her before I'd say hello to y'all. Didn't expect it to turn into a quickie tho," she said and chuckled smugly.
"Still doesn't answer my other question," Alice replied after nodding for a few moments.
"Sweety, I know you didn't have the pleasure and if it was up to me you or anyone else will never have it in the future, but I just had to collect myself for a moment after feeling Dani falling apart in my arms," she smiled, a tint of a smug grin on her face. Dani blushed furiously and Sophie choked on the sip she just took. Gigi and Dani immediately glared at her and Sophie just lifted her hands defensively "I'm sorry I was not expecting it," she said with a smile that said she really didn't mean anything bad with it.
