Imagine Omega Izuku is so ecstatic because he never got the chance to go to Ikea before, so when Alpha Katsuki takes him to Ikea to shop for their house appliances, he’s so excited, okay maybe he got too excited to the point that he left Katsuki all alone in the bathroom.
He swears that he doesn’t mean it though, it’s just Kacchan is taking too long in the bathroom (he’s not), and he just can’t resist the temptation to explore the Ikea, without realizing he already pushing on the cart, on an entirely different section from the bathroom where he left Kacchan.
Well, it’s fine he supposes, after all, Kacchan can just call him later when he’s finished.

When he left the bathroom and didn’t see his mate anywhere, he knew that Izuku must’ve left him all alone in here, despite his warnings to not leave his side because he could’ve gotten lost.
He quickly typed the numbers and dialed Izuku’s phone, and he hears a very familiar ringtone coming from his shoulder bag, fuck. Izuku left his phone with him and now he has 0 way to contact him. Well, it’s not like Ikea is that big of a place, he’s sure that Izuku must be still somewhere near him because he only spent a short time inside the bathroom.
Well, okay fuck, he’s wrong. Because it’s been 2 fucking hours and he’s still can’t find Izuku anywhere, he started searching from the kitchen section, plush section, all the way to the restaurant but he still can’t find Izuku anywhere.
He even tried to go back to the bathroom, just in case, Izuku remembers but nope, apparently, Izuku was too focused on whatever the fuck he’s doing right now to even forget that his mate isn’t there with him.
Well, he gave up searching for Izuku. He walks through the cashier, and goes straight to the information center, asking one of the staff there to make an announcement.

Izuku never thought that he would hear his name being announced on the loudspeaker again at the age of 26.
“To Bakugou Izuku-san, your child is here in the information center, once again, to Bakugou Izuku-san, your child is here in the information center, thank you.” First of all, whose child that’s claiming to be his because he and Kacchan has just freshly mated one week ago, and it’s impossible to pop out a baby out of his belly that fast.
Secondly, it’s weird to hear “Bakugou” instead of “Midoriya” as his first name, at times like this it makes him realize all over again that he’s now mated and married to someone who he loves with all his heart, his Kacchan.
Oh yeah, he did go here with Kacchan didn’t he, where’s he right now, and why he haven’t called yet? Izuku checked his pockets and bag, searching for his phone when he realized that he couldn’t find his phone anywhere, he starts searching in the cart, thinking that somehow he must’ve carelessly put the phone in the cart, but oh no, it’s not in there too.
Where was it? He does remember bringing it here because he uploaded a selfie with Kacchan before they split up. Kacchan, oh right. KACCHAN! He approached a female staff nearby, sheepishly asking for the information center’s, they said that it’s on the left side of the cashiers. Hearing that, he immediately pushed his cart and started running as fast as he can, quickly paying for all of the stuff inside the cart.
After ensuring that everything has been paid safely put in the cart, he navigate his steps as per the woman's instructions, he opened the door, and there he is. His husband, his alpha, pouting with both of his arms crossed in front of his chest. Staring at him, “Took you long enough, stupid Deku” Katsuki tilted his face to the left, the pair of crimson eyes won’t meet the viridian’s ones.
“Kacchan I’m so sorry” He cupped the alpha’s cheeks with both of his hands, making the alpha faces his direction as he kiss the pout off from his lips. Again, and again, until the Alpha can’t help but smile a little bit.
“Don’t do it again, I searched for you everywhere you know” the alpha still won’t meet his eyes, acting like he’s still angry, but Izuku knows better. Because as of now, the alpha’s cheeks are blushing red because of all those kisses earlier
“I won’t, let’s go home okay?” He gave his hand for the alpha to take, Katsuki grunts a little bit before he took it and starts intertwining both of their hands together.
