There was once, in the lively Nearby Plains, a not-so-lively person that glanced by the window on the everlasting patches of green grass in front of her.
The Nearby Plains is a region where not so much of a lot happens. We only seem to call them Nearby Plains, because they are the nearest place around Seaside Town, the touristic and economic pole of the region we know by the name of the Westdom of Loathing - a contraction of West and Kingdom. In these plains, the air is breathable, the sky is clear blue, and most of all, the grass is so smooth that you could go outside, just to touch its delicate green cover!
But Tiffany didn't hear it that way.
On the opposite side of the window, the girl going by the name of Tiffany Mechington, definitely looked like she could respectfully touch some grass. That lady had the folly and creativity of a psychopath, and the evil potential to be featured in a disney movie, as the main protagonist! But, how could you describe such insanity and mischiefs?
For that, you need to dig a bit further in her personality and past. Ever since she was a child, she always had a soft side for all that was linked to machinery - she even built her own creations! And even though they were defective most of the time, she still considered her inventions with the best of respect she could give - as if they were her own children!
She always supported machines over magic, as she considered them to be superior to those kind of powers obtained by very few of them. Perhaps… was she just jealous over magic havers, because she had no magical powers herself?
It could be seen as such, considering how she maintained that rivalry with that Pastamancer - Cassidy Ann Quinn, about a year ago. The two ladies fought off against each other - machines against magic. And it turned out magic won in this short rivalry arc. That already was humiliating enough for Tiffany, but if only that could be stopped there! She had to be lifted off the stage, and knocked down by another magic-haver, Teresa Naddlebatch! Which was double humiliating to the inventor!
Ever since that incident, she's isolated herself in her super-dangerous-and-threateningly-cool hideout, planning her revenge on those that dishonored her, that one dreadful night… seriously though, girl. Go touch some grass. Thank you.
But since today was Friday 13th, she considered this the opportunity to finally announce her evil plan to take on those nasty magic-havers. And for that, she decided to call over her klutz of a brother - Nathaniel Mechington. He walked to her with a confident grin.
If you had to describe him, Nathaniel would be exactly the male counterpart of Tiffany, with three exceptions: he is younger than his sister, he is more into potions, and he was a bit more reasonable than Tiffany - only a bit.
And then, she spoke.
“I’ve got a plan. And it’s a right good one, Nathy-Wathy!”
“You’re over-excited with plans, aren’t you?” Nathaniel asked, as he sat down a chair. “I can always tell, by the way you call me Nathy-Wathy when you are over-excited with plans.”
“It’s true,” Tiffany cackled, rubbing her hands in delight. “And this one’ll really get those fucking magic-users once and for all!”
“But we’ve already reviewed all our previous plans!” Nathaniel cautiously whined. “I really don’t think that this’ll-”
“SHUT UP!” Tiffany roared, extending her mechanical claws from her backpack and frightening Nathaniel off his chair. Tiffany snarled, helping her brother to her feet with a helping hand - for once.
“Listen here," she continued. "Over the past year, you and I-well, mostly I-have been working on this dimension hopper, as well as other things. I found this really great-looking planet in another dimension, so we’re going to go over there, steal a bunch of its residents, and weaponise and use them. How’s that sound?”
"W-Well," he began, "I know one thing or two about abduction, really, and… they never ended up go-" Nathaniel suddenly gulped, upon seeing the sight of a electrified-barbed wire stainless-steel baseball bat. He gulped.
"N-Nice silk handkerchief I see here, oh my genius sister!"
"I'm sorry, Nathaniel. What did you say again?" she addressed him with that growly soft tone, that also hid beneath it all of the most ill intentions in the world.
"I was about to say- that this plan of yours was excellent and that we should totally go ahead with it!"
“I like that better," she nodded as she pulled back her silk handkerchief. "Perfect. Get dressed and meet me down in the lab in…let’s say…fifteen minutes.”
And so, a good fifteen minutes later, both could set off into Tiffany's totally-radical-and-poggers-inducing spaceship, with all the newest tech she could extract from the Build-o-ship magazine, Junior edition.
She was well aware there were many other dimensions, thanks to Madame Quinn's associates… huh. What were their names again? Something like Noelle, Ivan and Ruby- or whatever. There was no time for such reflections, now. She had a world-invading plan going on, and she had to put it into action. As long as she knew what she was doing…
… or was she, really?
