Sope
Noun: you mean soulmates?
The sun shines bright that day.
And Jung Hoseok and Min Yoongi were always together.

“Hyung, let's do something fun today! We’ve both got day-offs after like two months.”, Hoseok looks towards Yoongi who has his glasses on as he reads some book Namjoon had recommended to him. “Please please please!”
“Seok-ah, baby, It's our day off shouldn’t we sit at home and enjoy our day?”, Yoongi responds, looking up from his book for a brief moment as he smiles sheepishly at the love of his life perched on their plush couch.
If you would’ve told Hoseok two years ago that he was gonna be the Min Yoongi’s boyfriend – his long-time crush – he would’ve laughed in your face. But after two years of working at the same company for some non-profit organization, whilst going on campaigns and raising funds for the same, their feelings changed and so did they towards each other.
The college bad boy, loner kid and the softest looking A-grade student did end up becoming that couple in their adulthood.
It wasn’t an easy process though. For Hoseok it was more about self-discovery and learning about himself and learning to accept the changes and the way he feels, was a challenge.
When he first realized he was asexual, he didn’t know how to feel about it. To fit in the societal norms was what he was taught to do, and that is why he freaked. His Seokjin hyung told him, it was absolutely okay that he belonged to the aspec spectrum. That it was okay to not have any sexual feelings towards anyone; and that he can take time to explore himself more.
But Hoseok’s brain couldn’t accept the fact that he was okay. He thought it was unfair, maybe not to him but his partner. That normal people could enjoy the sexual part of their relationship without feeling uncomfortable, but he couldn’t give that to his partner.
And when he met Yoongi, again. After years of pining over him. When Hoseok was desperately trying to love himself when he met him again, he found it so easy.
Yoongi made it so easy.
Yoongi looked at him like he was the prettiest thing, the prettiest human being the universe had given him.
Yoongi loved Hoseok for everything that Hoseok didn’t love himself for.
Yoongi stayed with Hoseok, Yoongi helped Hoseok love himself. And God, did Hoseok feel like the luckiest boy in the entire world.
Being with Yoongi. Falling in love with Him. Everything was a slow process - but the most beautiful one.
He was glad Yoongi waited for him. He was glad to call Yoongi his. Despite their polar opposite personalities, they complimented each other so well. They fit together like two peas in a pod.
They made love seem easy. Feel easy.
They were Love.
So now when Hoseok knows Yoongi just as much as Yoongi knows Hoseok, the brunette takes full advantage of it.
Knows how to get Yoongi to do something without overstepping Yoongi’s boundaries.
So when he asks Yoongi if they can go roller skating, like they went on their first date, he sees the way Yoongi’s eyes light up and the way the smile that he has come to love fill his face.
The pearly whites all visible for Hoseok to coo at.
“Hoba, darling, you still don’t know how to roller skate properly.”, Yoongi chuckles as he pulls Hoseok in his lap, placing tender kisses on his face.
Hoseok feels his ears burning. Months of being together and Hoseok still can’t get used to Yoongi being so mushy with him.
“Hyung, it doesn't matter! I wanna go roller-skating with you and that is what matters.!” Hoseok pouts as he places his hands on Yoongi’s larger ones, playing with his fingers.
“Also if I fall, I know hyung will help me.”
“Of course, I will baby. Hyung is always gonna be here to pick you up when you fall and he is always gonna be here to fall with you too.”, he accentuates his statement by running his fingers through Hoseok’s soft brown hair and places a soft kiss on his forehead.

And when they finally reach the ice rink, they giggle and fall over each other and laugh.
And it looks so mundane and just them.
It looks like a story out of a fairytale. A story that is underrated and at first glance wouldn’t seem all that shiny but in reality, when you actually read it, you realize it’s one of the most beautiful stories ever written.
And just like how Yoongi promised, he was there to pick Hoseok up every time the precious boy fell down. And Yoongi was there to fall beside him every time Hoseok fell,
because
That was how they were. And that was how Yoongi will always be with Hoseok. They were each other’s rocks and they bet they were gonna stay that way.
Because Jung Hoseok and Min Yoongi were always together.
