Chapter Text
Inferno was a FPS shooter ahead of it’s time, created by Doberman Corp. the game had taken inspiration from many staples of the game community such as Paramour, Daybreak, Dead by Dawn and so on. Most of them coming from horror games.
Inferno ran well for over 14 years, only occasionally experiencing bugs that were miraculously fixed until the fateful day the game broke completely.
No one knows what happened, all they know is that monsters changed. From something horrifying but unrealistic through a screen changes into something too real for everyday people to truly comprehend, leaving many to discard the game completely.
That was where Banana Bus came in, their names may have been terrible, but they were also disgustingly good at their jobs, running around in the background of games and fixing any issues that shouldn’t have occurred. For years, they remained successful. Until they had to face Inferno. They were never heard of again, leaving behind a life and a family. Brock Snuckel, the intel reporter at the Energy Division at the time had worked tirelessly for weeks, trying his best to find the missing crew members.
All the roads he took led to a dead end.
Aside from one. Physically investigating himself.
And he went missing as well.
And Sark takes 4 children under his care out of a debt for his friends.
