MANTIS, Phoenix, Master Jingwei, Fu Hua. Everyone of them is me. I witnessed the beginning and the end. I lost everyone that I cared about. I even lost her. I sometimes look up to the sky and wonder, how are they? Can they see me? But the answer came to me, in a form of a heavenly body. These memories that I still held on to, are the only thing that kept me going after all those years.
It was dawn. I suddenly woke up from a deep slumber. I glanced at my clock and saw 06:00 am. I stood up and made my way downstairs.
“AH! THERE SHE IS!!!”
“Hey Fu Hua, slept well?”
“The Bronya will now wake Idiotka up.”
“Class Monitor, good morning! Here, I prepared this for you.”
[what is this?]
“Well, Mei made us a special breakfast because today is an important day!”
[What day is it?]
“Idiotka answer the question.”
“OH CLASS MONITOR!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”
[Birthday? Me?]
“YEAH!!! Here I bought you a new pair of glasses.”
[-----, where did you get this?]
“Don’t worry about it! Here, put it on.”
“Woah looking good Fu Hua”
[Thanks, Major.]
“Let me take a picture of you Fu Hua!”
[ I don’t think that’s necessary, principal]
“What do you mean unnecessary? You really look pretty Class Monitor! But, ya know, Mei is prettier so… OWW!”
“Idiot! Don’t ruin Fu Hua’s day!”
[ it’s quite alright Mei-san. Thank you -----]
What was that? I can’t seem to remember her. Did, I forgot somebody important? I was washing my face when I heard my door knocked. I grabbed a towel and dried my face. I went to the door and opened it.
“Hi Fu Hua.”
“Mei-san.. Oh, Bronya-san. Good morning, uh do you need anything?”
They both looked at each other. Then looked at me. Is there something wrong?
“Yes?”
“We have some news to tell you Fu Hua.”, Bronya approached me and reached out to my left hand. She squeezes it lightly.
“Fu Hua, she’s back.”
She? Who?
”who?”
“Don’t you remember? Kiana?”
The moment I heard that name, both of my ears started to ring. It was hurting so much. That name, who is Kiana? “Pardon me but, who’s Kiana?”
Both of them had wide eyes. As if I’ve done something I shouldn’t have. Mei suddenly embraces me while Bronya still held my hand. But I swear I saw her wiped something in her face.
“What’s the matter? I really don’t know who Kiana is.”
“Oh, Fu Hua..”, I felt my shoulder getting wet from Mei’s tears. She’s crying too? Just who is this person?
I was about to say something again but I saw a glimpse of snow flashed before me. That snow is staring at me.
“Hey…”
Bronya and Mei looked back and the snow smiled at them. The three of them hugged each other for a while until I’m met again by that shade of white. I felt it touched my hand.
“Fu Hua, it’s me… Kiana. Kiana Kaslana. You know, the one that you helped before? Inchou??”
“Ki…a…na?”, something must have happened to me because suddenly, I’m drowning in tears. My tears.
“Inchou… Hey, it’s okay… I’m back now.. See?? I’m real. Look, I bought you a new pair of glasses!! Happy Birthday, Master Jingwei.”
I glanced at her and stared at her deeply. It’s the eyes of someone who endured all the pain for the sake of others. Out of memory, I suddenly punched her.
“OWW!! Woah Inchou, you’re still powerful as before! And here I thought I’ve gained more power than any of you.”
“Joke’s on you Idiotka, me and Mei-neesan also got strong.”
“Yeah…. I can see that. Damn Bronya you and Seele outdid yourselves huh?”
“Fuck you.”
“hahahahhaha.. Okay, okay I’m sorry. And you, MEI SENPAIIIII… wait we not in school anymore. Hey there my precious Mei.. Miss me?”
After she said that, a large sword appeared beside Mei. The Herrscher of Thunder’s weapon.
“WOAH NOW IM JOKING! Calm down girl!”
“You!! Don’t ever do that again or I swear you’ll never come back here again. You got us all worried and you took too long that even Fu Hua forgotten you.”
I saw her flinched at that.
“Mei-san, it’s quite alright.. Thank you, Kiana. And yes, I do remember you now. Welcome back.” I offered my arms to her in which she returned. In the end, we all hugged each other.

“Once again, Fu Hua, Happy Birthday! Let’s have fun on your special day okay? Don’t worry Aunt Teri already has food prepared for us.”
“Thank you guys.. Just let me change my clothes and I’ll be down in a bit.”
“alright we’ll wait for you.”
I hurried my steps to my bedroom and grabbed a new pair of clothes. Right before I went out of my room, a hand on my wrist stopped me.
“You seem to be forgetting something… Old Timer.”
“You, why do you always appear in times like this.. Why not appear as a whole?”
“don’t tell me you miss me already? Ahahhahah!! We’ll have our moment later Old Timer, but for now, let them have it. Oh and, Happy Birthday.”
She embraced me.. I hugged her back.
This, feels nice.
“okay go away now shoo have a nice day bye.”
I smiled at her..
“Thanks, Hua.”
I saw her smile but then she disappeared again.
I raced downstairs and met with Kiana and others. Everything is here now.. We all celebrated my birthday with lots of warm and fun memories.
The once dark and remorseful past of mine, is now filled with colors that guided me still even if one had its own path. For those that are lost but loved, and to those who will be found and will continue to love. This is the change and I thank you, for guiding her safely to us, Major.

“hey Fu Hua, do you have minute? I just want to tell you something.”
“What is it major?”
“Here, take this.”
“Is this… a snowglobe?”
“Yeah, of you’re hometown. I hope you like it.. “
“Yeah… thank you major. I’ll cherish it.”
“you’re welcome Fu Hua, Happy Birthday.”
“OI OLDIES WHO’S NEXT ON THE KARAOKE?”

“Eto, ahem mic check mic check.. This is Senti speaking. We good? Okay? Okay.. So, hey old timer! By the time you hear this, maybe you’re now asleep. That’s good! Old timer like you needs to take care of themselves or else you go to the hospital, at least that’s what that idiot told me. Anyways, I just want to let you know that you’re not alone anymore. We may see our past from different perspectives but I also felt your pain for those that you lost. Oh gosh this is so not me. WHATEVER!! Happy Birthday Old Timer! May you stay old as always! “Hiii Hua~ You may or may not remember me anymore but I know you will.. This is Elysia speakin~ It’s a shame that we’re not together anymore. Gosh, I was enjoying you, you know? Hehehe setting jokes aside, I hope you lived. Because I know I didn’t. I hope you found yourself if you still continued to live. But I know you did because you’re THE phoenix right? Ehehe… I will miss you Hua. But, you hate me don’t ya? Nahh, you love me right? Happy Birthday Mantis.. Love, your Elysia~”
“Like this? Good? Okay so, um this is Theresa Apocalypse. I am the Overseer of Schicksal and the world’s no.1 Cutie!! OW!! You idiot why did you hit me!? Unnecessary?! So Fu Hua, there maybe still a lot that I don’t know about you.. But know that I held a grudge on you when you held my hand and treated me like your LITTLE sister when we entered that school. I never felt so humiliated in my life. You owe me on that one. Fu Hua, I know you kept some of your pain to yourself, and I understand that. By doing so, it made you who you are today. “Um so, I’m Raiden Mei. Fu Hua, I would like to thank you for everything. You did me a great favor when you’re the only one who’s by Kiana’s side on Arc City and also after I joined the world serpent. Thank you, for also helping me.. We may not talk to each other a lot but I cherish you as much as I cherish everybody else on Hyperion. Thank you for choosing to live even if there was no more hope. Thank you for not giving up on any of us, Fu Hua. Thank you. Thank you so much.. and, Happy Birthday class monitor.”
“Ahem, hi Fu Hua. It’s me Bronya. Still remember when you helped me snap out of the Gray Serpent’s spell and entered my mind? Yeah, I enjoyed that adventure of ours. I know everybody already said it to you.. But I’ll say it again, Thank you for everything. Oh yeah, I still want a rematch of that test when Overseer wanted to test if I still had the shape for it. You know, I never thought that you still have the power. Hahahha… Oh yeah, me and Seele are doing great. No need to worry about us. Yeah.. that would be all… I love you Class Monitor.. Happy Birthday.”
