Work Text:
Lila set the unsigned card upon her university roommates bed. It was the most intricate card she could find, and she had spent hours perfecting the intimate poem written inside.
She sighed, imagining Marinette gushing to her about how thoughtful and sweet the anonymous poem was. Lila nodding along, crafting her lies to avoid suspicion from Marinette.
She dared to fantasise about signing the card. Marinette gasping, overwhelmed by the gesture, but declaring that she shared identical feelings.
But as the card sat there, taunting her with its anonymity, Lila thought that maybe some feelings are meant to stay hidden.
