Weiss Schnee is a Warlock who is currently on Europa, at the base camp where the Exo Stranger Elsie Bray is. She and her ghost Myrtenaster are going through her recently acquired fragments and aspects for Stasis in her menu.
“Hmm, what do you think about these combo of fragments?” She asks Myrtenaster as she moves around the fragments for her ghost to see. Myrtenaster in their crystallized ghost shell hovers over the build. “Probably not, Weiss, I don’t think it fits your style,” her ghost said, erasing the build for Weiss to start over.
“Damnit!” Weiss exclaimed, putting her hands to her helmet in frustration. “I can’t seem to figure out what would be the best combo to use!” She sighs in defeat. “Maybe I should just go back to running Solar instead, what do you think Myrtenaster? She looks towards her ghost, who doesn’t respond to her. Her ghost seems to be in deep thought, shrugging her shoulders she just ignores her ghost's silence. Getting up from where she was sitting, she motions for her ghost to bring out her sparrow.
“Come on, maybe going on patrol will clear my head and give me some ideas,” she said while also switching back to Solar Dawnblade. Hopping onto her sparrow she speeds off towards Cadmus Ridge.

Weiss finishes the public event against the fallen brigs when she gets an idea. Pulling out the map she travels back to Charon's Crossing landing zone. As she reappears in the safe zone she brings up her menu and switches back to Stasis and starts going through the fragments and aspects again. Once satisfied with the selection she begins to go through her armor mods.
“Myrtenaster, bring up my vault and select Verity’s Brow and my Eyasluna with the headstone perk,” she said as she finished her armor modding on her current armor.
“Weiss are you sure this is what you want to go for?” Weiss glares at the ghost before she opens up the map and selects the Eventide Ruins landing zone. “Just do it!” She demanded as she transmatted away. As she reappears again she notices the two requested gear has appeared now in her inventory. Smiling to herself, she equips everything and heads towards a small group of fallen she noticed that are walking around.
She fires her Eyasluna into the head of one of the fallen, their head explodes and all of a sudden a stasis crystal appears. The death of their comrade surprises the other fallen, before they can do anything, Weiss shoots the crystal that appeared and the rest of the fallen explode. Smirking to herself, she begins to have fun with her new build. Unknown to Weiss but to her ghost, she has a visitor on their way.

Sparrowing through Cadmus Ridge again, Weiss is thinking more on her build, when all of a sudden a red blur flies right past her. Shrieking, Weiss loses control of her sparrow causing her to crash into a snow pile. Getting up she looks around before the red blur appears in front of her causing her to fall back into the snow with a yelp. “HI WEISS!” The new arrival yelled, which had Weiss sigh but smile a bit in her helmet. “Hello to you Ruby,” getting up from the snow again, Weiss eyes her Hunter best friend.
Ruby Rose is holding her scout rifle the Hung Jury SR4 and is currently wearing her Mask of Bakris helmet which means she’s also using stasis. Weiss is curious to what build Ruby chose, but is even more curious as to the sword that’s on Ruby’s back covered by her red cloak. “What are you doing on Europa Weiss? Didn’t you forget we had plans today?” Ruby crosses her arms and pouts, even with her helmet on, Weiss can tell.
“Oh! I am completely sorry Ruby, I had just finished helping Elsie which she then helped me with getting me the remaining stuff I need for my Stasis. Ruby triple jumps in joy before she grabs Weiss’ shoulders and shakes her. “You gotta show me your build! Pretty please pretty please pretty please!” She repeats before Weiss grabs her arms to stop the shaking. “Of course I’m going to show you you dolt!” Lifting up her hand she calls Myrtenaster.
“Myrtenaster, if you’d please, can you show Ruby my build?”
“Of course, Weiss.”
The ghost brings up the Stasis build and Ruby begins to go over it. Weiss just watches as Ruby stays silent for a couple minutes. “Ruby? Is everything OK?” Weiss asked, concerned which has Ruby shaking her head. “O-oh yeah, but this build Weiss?”
“Yes?”
“It doesn’t fit you…”
“What do you mean it doesn’t fit me?”
“It doesn’t, when I look at this build, I think it’s mainly for power and a one woman army; but for you I think of, supporting and crows control, or something that fits you.”
Ruby calls upon her ghost. “Hey Crescent Rose!” Ruby’s ghost appears, the cosmos shell shining bright in the sun. “Yes Ruby?” Her ghost asks.
“Please show Weiss my stasis build!”
“Of course, Ruby,” Crescent Rose said as they brought Ruby’s stasis build up. Weiss looks through it and as she does she's confused at Ruby’s selection. “Ruby?” Weiss said, glancing up from the build menu. “Yes?”
“This build makes absolutely no sense, why are you using Shatterdive and Winter's Shroud when you could use Touch of Winter and Grim Harvest instead?” She questioned her friend who just smirks under her helmet. “I’ll show you why,” Ruby said, pulling out the sword. The sword is long and is a half bladed sword. The blade on one side is blue making it an arc sword.
“This bad boy right here is called Half-Truths. One of the perks I have on it is called Eager Edge, when I swing it I lunge a good distance. So I’m gonna show you why I’m using Shatterdive,” Ruby points towards the path that leads to Asterion Abyss, then points towards the Bray Exoscience building. “I’m gonna go from the Asterion Abyss path to the science building in no time at all without a sparrow!” Ruby beamed as she pulled out her sparrow and sped off towards the path, which Weiss think isn’t possible.
Weiss watches Ruby get to the path and then jumps off the sparrow. “Ready Weiss?” She questioned on coms, “Of course, show me!” Weiss demanded. There was a chuckle on Ruby’s end before she said, “alright.” Weiss watches Ruby pull out the sword and all of a sudden, she’s gone. A red blur flies past her and stops at the entrance to the science building.
“What the-“
“DID YOU SEE WEISS?!” Ruby cut her off on coms.
“Ruby? H-how the hell did you do that?” There was no answer, instead the red blur appeared in front of Weiss again this time causing her to shriek, it’s Ruby again.
“I’m not sure what causes that to happen, one day I was messing with it and when I did a heavy swing and jumped then dived at the same time I went flying super super fast. The first time that happened I kinda crashed into a wall and died!” Ruby sadly said as she fidgeted. Weiss gasped when Ruby told her she died. She grabs her and begins to inspect her. “Are you alright?! No injuries you’re hiding from me?” Weiss fretted over Ruby which caused her to laugh.
“Weiss I’m fine, this happened a while ago, plus you know Crescent Rose revived me so I’m fine, if they weren’t then I’d be dead dead. But you see what I was talking about? This fits me because I like to have high mobility and I like going fast, so you should think of what Weiss thinks is the best build for her and her fireteam! You’re far too pretty to use brute force builds,” Ruby muttered the last bit but Weiss heard it.
Weiss blushed under her helmet from that compliment, which caused her stomach to have butterflies. She's had a crush on Ruby for a while but she was too chicken to ever mention it to her. But the little comment gives Weiss hope that maybe Ruby shares the same feeling? A moment and Weiss gets an idea.
“Say Ruby, let’s head to The Tower?”
“Alright!”

When they land in the hanger; Weiss grabs Ruby’s hand, blushing at the boldness she’s doing and leads them towards a secluded area overlooking the mountains behind The Tower. Once there she lets go and takes her Verity’s Brow off, her white hair cascading down finally free and blue eyes with a scar leading down the left eye waits for Ruby to do the same. Removing her Mask of Bakris, her black hair with red at the tips fall to her shoulders. Silver eyes sparkle in the light before they make contact with Weiss’.
“Sooooooo, did you want to talk about something?” She asks, tilting her head in curiosity.
“Yes actually,” Weiss said, preparing what she was going to say.
“Ruby for a while now I’ve started developing fe-“
“WEISS WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO OUT?!” Ruby blurted out, cutting Weiss off who is in shock now.
“R-really?!”
“YES!”
“Weiss I can’t hold it in anymore, I’ve had a crush on you since the first day we met, when I was newly risen as a guardian, it was my first time arriving at The Tower and accidentally crashing into you!”
“You’re serious?” Weiss asked quietly while Ruby just nodded her head sheepishly.
“Ruby, I was actually going to ask you the same thing,” Weiss said, looking to the left. Ruby eyes widen as a smile begins to form.
“REALLY!?”
“Yes you dolt! I’ve developed a crush on you after you saved me back during the Red War and returned my light from Ghaul and the Red Legion.”
“Oh wow, you’ve had a crush on me since the Red War?! That’s a long time Weiss!” Weiss flicks Ruby’s forehead.
“Yes it’s a long time but according to you just now you’ve had a crush on me since we first met!”
Ruby shyly rubs the back of her head laughing nervously. “I guess you got a point.”
“But to answer your blurted out question, yes I would love to go out with you, the plans we had today? Why don’t we change them and go on a date? We can out to dinner?” Weiss suggested.
“That sounds perfect actually!” Ruby said but then began to fidget again. “Um Weiss?”
“Yes?”
“Can we kiss?”
Laughing Weiss just grabs Ruby’s vest and brings her into a kiss. When their lips meet, it’s like electricity flows through them and the area around them shakes. They keep kissing until an announcement interrupts them.
“Please refrain from using your powers outside of the crucible or training rooms!” Commander Zavala’s voice booms through the intercoms. Looking around there's scorch marks around their feet and at themselves they notice arc electricity is all around them!
“Oh this is embarrassing!” Weiss said, covering her face that is completely red now.
“Oh wow! This is super cool Weiss! We activated our arc supers at the same time somehow!” Ruby excitedly yelled.
“Quiet you! Let's get cleaned up and go on that date!” Weiss quickly said as she started heading towards the apartments.
Weiss stops, “Oh and Ruby I decided on what you told me back on Europa.”
“About what build that fits you for Stasis?” Ruby asked.
“Yeah.”
“What is it?”
“I decided that I’ll use Frostpulse and Bleak Watcher, thinking it over those just fit me,” she said as she continued walking with Ruby laughing and following her.
