Margareth woke up with a sigh, instinctively hugging the body she was using as a pillow. She could feel the late morning sun kiss her bare back through the sheer curtains in her room, a warm embrace paired with an arm around her shoulder. Birds chirping outside, waves crashing against sharp rocks and a calm heartbeat were all the sounds she could hear.

When she opened her eyes, what she saw was Hatysa, laying on her bed, half covered by thin blankets, and the memories from the night before came all at once, but not in an overwhelming way, they felt more like a dream. The fact that it wasn’t, made her own heart beat a little faster.

A warm hum vibrated on Hatysa’s torso. Margareth could feel a hand slipping from her shoulder to her hair, pulling her closer.

The woman let out a slow, delighted sigh. “Good morning bunny.” She buried her nose in Marge’s completely messy curls.

“Good morning.” Margareth replied with a groggy voice and raised her head from Hatysa’s chest, and her smile was so soft it made Marge feel completely moonstruck and warm inside.

The golden morning sun lit up her eyes, tinting them an auburn red, highlighting her hair and skin, making her glow. Margareth left out a sigh at the sight. Saying she was beautiful wasn’t exactly accurate. She was way more than that.

And Margareth could not contain a tender smile at the thought that she was hers .

“What?” The other asked, chuckling while she dove her hand on Marge’s messy hair.

Instead of responding, Margareth cupped the other’s face with her hands and kissed her lips, entwining their legs together. Innocent and sweet, just two idiots in love, enjoying each other’s company.

When they pulled away, Hatysa scanned her body with a faint pitiful smile on her face, lazily dragging her fingertips along Margareth's side. "You're covered in bruises."

"That is your fault." She replied, with an infatuated expression splattered across her face.

Hatysa hummed. "I can't let you go out like that." Her hand rested on Marge's cheek as she kissed her lips once more.

“We don’t have to go out at all.” Marge replied, ready to abandon all the plans she had for today, fingers gently caressing her girlfriend’s cheek.

Eventually we’ll have to get up and eat something.” Hatysa raised an eyebrow, making Margareth chuckle and bury her face on the other’s neck. "Let me heal them." Hatysa kissed her forehead, and Margareth nodded, same love-struck expression as before.

Hatys propped herself on her elbows and hovered over her girlfriend, raising her chin with the tip of her nose and started kissing her neck, Marge hummed in delight with a smile on her face. She kissed her cheek, and then her neck, and slowly made her way to her collarbone.

Margareth looked down as Hatysa placed gentle, loitered pecks on each purple-ish spot across her chest, and watched with a gaped mouth as they magically disappeared under her girlfriend's lips.

She let out a gasp when Hatysa suddenly, but gently sucked a new hickey on the inner lining of her thigh.

"I thought you were going to heal them, not make new ones." She panted.

"Sorry." Hatysa smiled and kissed away the blushing red mark, healing it. "You're too irresistible." She kissed all the remaining lovebites in rapid succession, tickling Margareth into a chuckly mess.

She grasped the sheets and her laughter quickly turned into pleasure sighs when Hatysa turned her focus somewhere else.

Later that morning, after a bath and a quick stroll to the kitchen for breakfast, both of them headed to the Moon library, in Eridanus, for Margareth’s daily lessons in Cygnus culture and language.

Hands and fingers played with one another as they walked all the way there hand in hand, talking and laughing like the lovebirds they are, no different behavior from before.

But, perhaps, if you looked really closely, you could catch a glimpse of a new sparkle in the corner of their eyes when they looked at eachother. Margareth still blushed just as much when Hatysa looked at her in the eyes, and Hatysa still gave her that enthralled smile after they kissed. One could say they’ve gotten even closer than before, if that’s possible.

Once they got to the seemingly infinite rows of books the library could offer, Hatysa fetched Margareth a dictionary, for they were continuing her study in language today. As a fast learner, she was getting really good at it, could read, write and speak intermediate level sentences, but still had a lot to learn.

About half an hour into her lesson, Margareth was interrupted on her focus by a familiar voice.

“Good morning!” The little ginger girl greeted excitedly, waving to her hand. “Did you sleep well?”

Before she could answer, she felt a hand tapping her thigh, and turned around to see Hatysa smiling and raising an eyebrow at her. Margareth could feel her cheeks getting bright red at the memory of last night.

“Did I ask something wrong?” Aquila asked, and Margareth turned to her, clearing her throat.

“No, nothing is wrong. We had a very peaceful sleep.” She closed her book and got up. "Let's get going.”

“Alright.” The girl looked away, to the tall bookshelves around her.

Margareth gave her girlfriend one last look, trying to reprimand her, but ended up smiling instead, cheeks still hot. Hatysa smiled brightly and said, holding her hand before her girlfriend could leave. “See you at lunch!”
