The graduation party was a whole success. His mom was very pleased with him and even stayed for the school band’s performance to hear him sing. He danced with Geralt until the party was declared over and the dancefloor cleared.
After that they sneaked away to climb the tower and enjoy their favourite place for one last time together. They sat on the wall between the merlons and watched the blinking lights of the city.
“We’re free,” Geralt sighed. “What now? I mean, what’re we - you… uhm, if you even want to- “ he cut himself off.
Jaskier took his hand and leaned against his shoulder. “We should head to the coast, get away for a while.” Geralt hummed. “We’ll get hired on the next cruise ship. I’ll entertain the guests at night with my angelic voice and you’ll make them sweat during the day with your fitness programme. Then we’ll dock in America and travel the continent. I’ll become super famous and you’ll be my tour manager,” he laughed.
Geralt put his arm around his shoulders and kissed his cheek. “And when you’re super rich, we’ll buy a ranch and rescue horses and other animals.”
“Anything, as long as you’re with me, my love.” Jaskier beamed at him.
“As long as you’ll have me, love,” Geralt whispered and cupped his cheek to pull him into a sweet, passionate kiss.
