You wake up in a very long hall way, your vision is fuzzy and your head is aching you cant remember anything. You check if you have your phone, nothing but a single piece of sweet candy. You get up and look at the place you are in a little better, the wallpaper is an old welcoming light muted yellow with nice white floral pattern there’s some wallpaper that has pelled off due to time. You walk forward hoping you would find something. A couple of minutes has passed you haven't found anything, your head is throbbing and screaming for you to take a break, you sit down on the carpeted flooring while taking steady breaths to try and get rid of your pains.
After a while, the headache has calmed down and so you were ready get up again. You walk in the same direction for about a long hour, still nothing. You feel more unease every minute that passed. You start to get really bored and pretty tired, but you do not have anything to entertain your ever lasting boredom and just sitting on the floor had seem more boring, and so you headed forward. You walk for a couple more minutes and found a turn to the left.
'A turn? Alright then, at least its something.' You think.
You took the turn and walked more, after a while your stomach has growled hungry for food. You thank yourself for not eating the sweet candy that was in your pocket sooner, it is not much but it should keep you going for a couple of minutes. You encounter a mysterious door to your left, you opened it and found a lonely table for one, a wooden chair, a small note and a nice warm meal. You approach the lovely setup weary of where you step, on the small note reads
'It looked like you had needed this, enjoy' in a cursive writing.
You’re in shock and disbelieve, you look around in hopes to find a camera hidden somewhere, and as always nothing. You sigh as you sat down looking at the food hesitantly. You figured you cant really lose anything seeming that you cant even remember your own name, you take the first bite. You’re relieved as the food was indeed safe, and delicious too. You finish the rest of the warm meal filling your hungry stomach with the nice substance.
You stand up, and get out the well scented room, and walk forwards once again....
Walking, its all you have ever known, it was the first you had came to when you woke up. It was all you ever did when you woke up here, walk, rest, walk again, rest, walk. Again. Before that mysterious and unexpected food, walking was all that you've done. Walking. Its your routine after all its all you ever did. How long has it been since you've woke up? About 3 and a half hours you guess... most of it just walking.. A couple minutes has passed and you feel thirsty because of the meal you had. You hope the hidden mysterious person to know your need of water.
After you walked for another minute you see a turn, you take the right turn. There you have been greeted with a small coffee table and a cup of water. You are delighted as you gladly drank the clean water. That was a nice refresher to your mouth and mind, you continue along humming notes that doesn't quite fit together but you hum it anyways, relieved knowing that your basic needs are something you don’t have to worry about too much.
You walk on and on for it seems hours, you're getting desperate and tired your head is getting fuzzy again. You walk for another 5 minutes and found nothing, you figured that they wont give you a place to rest just yet so you sat down on the floor and let your mind wonder.
You wonder if you're actually human, maybe you're created by scratch? Or maybe a clone that'd be cool having someone identical to yourself walking around, are you created for an experiment? If so what sick being would clone someone for this surely they would know that you would be sentient too, or maybe they knew but couldn't care just because you were a clone? Or maybe you are a human like everyone else and was kidnapped and brainwashed ? If so do you have a family? Friends? What was your life before this?... as you ponder these questions you start to doze off to a dreamless sleep...
