His tears started to dry as the chilly mid-day breeze brushed against his cheeks. Although the sun was shining brightly, it felt like his world was swallowed in complete darkness.
"Satan, you have to let him go," the oldest pleaded as he gently placed a hand on the blonde's shaky shoulders.
"Let him go?!? Do you think it's that fucking EASY?!" He replied with a raspy shout. How could he be so insensitive?
Spatting out those words like it's nothing.
"What if I told YOU to let go of that dammed mouth of yours. How'd you feel?!"
"Satan, that doesn't make any sense."
"SO DO YOU"
The older demon let out a sigh. He soon figured that talking to Satan right now would be akin to talking to a wall.
Lucifer took one last glance at Satan before joining the others to observe from a distance.
"You think he'll be okay?" The second born asked in concern as his older brother approached the tent they all gathered under.
"Yeah—...Eventually." He sternly replies while looking at the sobbing blonde.
It had already been three hours since Simeon's burial but his little brother didn't move an inch. That's why he decided to check on him but by the looks of it, it seems like they'll be here all night.
