Work Text:
all kokone could think about was the hero that had just dropped her off at her house. she was still lightheaded from being carried, say, about 60 meters into the air… partly because a pretty girl was the one carrying her. she laid down on a couch, hoping she would feel better eventually. her mind wandered and kept replaying the moment she had with cure precious. the way she smiled at kokone was enough to make her shove her face into a pillow to hide her blushing, despite the fact that she was home alone. “maybe making myself dinner will keep my mind off her”, she thought.
she made herself some curry, and she loved it. her cooking skills were a bit lackluster, but something was different today. maybe it was because precious had saved the recipeppi of curry today? and now she’s thinking about cure precious again. “great work, kokone.” she mumbled to herself. now that she had started thinking about her, she couldn’t stop. maybe cure precious would like her curry? maybe she would help her cook. oh god, precious next to her, her hands on hers, kokone’s precious. she needs her.
she snapped out of it after that last thought. all of a sudden, she was hyper-aware of what she was thinking. what was she doing, saying that she was her precious and that she needs her? she threw away her curry and went to her room to get ready to go to bed, changing into her pajamas and wrapping herself up in her blankets. today had been a long day. maybe she just needed some rest.
the pink-haired magical girl had invaded her dreams as well. she dreamt about getting swept off her feet by her again and flying off into the sunset with her. the sky was just as beautiful as cure precious was, with shades of purple and orange all around. kokone couldn’t help but plant a quick kiss on her cheek. she felt like she was up in the clouds. and then she was. precious had brought her up to the clouds. she was standing on them? it felt like she was in heaven, standing on clouds while holding cure precious’s hands. soon they began to dance a slow waltz.
“i wish we could stay like this forever,” kokone mused.
“why can’t we?” precious gave her a warm smile.
kokone gave her a smile back. this was it. this was the moment. she leaned in slowly, giving precious time to back out if she wanted. to kokone’s surprise, she was the one who closed the gap between them. god, her lips were so soft. the kiss was short but incredibly sweet. they couldn’t hide their grins as they kept dancing.
as the song ended, kokone and cure precious flew back down to the ground. “you’re really pretty, kokone.” precious admired her as she played with her hair. “this was fun! we should do this again sometime.” kokone nodded as they said their goodbyes and precious hopped away.
kokone woke up disoriented. was that a dream? it felt so realistic. after she took her time to fully wake up, she wrote down everything in a small blue journal so she could remember it. she’d never want to forget that dream. maybe she should look for her and get to know her. she’d be on the lookout for cure precious from now on.
