Work Text:

It was a fine day in spring. The sky was as blue as his cerulean eyes, while the trees were as green as her emerald ones.

It was a beautiful day full of smiles and laughter. Or so she thought...

"I'm going to go get slushies. Do you want some?"

"Blue raspberry please!" yelled a wet ginger haired girl from the river. Her sleeveless top and jean shorts drenched.

The pale blonde man chuckled fondly at her antics. His eyes showing nothing but love and amusement for his dear lover.

"Yes ma'am!" he jokingly saluted before retreating to go buy a slushie for his lovely girlfriend. Just one though, so in case she gets a brainfreeze he could always finish it for her.

-

Just as she sees her boyfriend return, she also spots a blonde lady hobbling on one foot, holding onto his arm for support. Concerned, she immediately got out of the water and rushes to them.

"Oh my gosh, are you okay miss? What happened??"

"My clumsy self accidentally tripped on a curb and twisted my ankle. I was soo lucky this handsome man helped me, how could I ever repay you kind sir!"gushed the blonde woman, her cheeks turning a rosy red. Huh, strange.

"Ah, it's really no big deal..."the albino sweatdropped, rubbing his nape with his other arm.

"But I must repay you somehow!"she insisted. Her grip on his arm tightening, her face channeling a small pout as if in to act cute. Now this wouldn't do...

"No really it's--"

"How about we take you to where you need to be yea? Didn't you have any friends with you?" Emma finally interfered, her voice cheerful and friendly as always...Maybe a little too friendly.

"No, not really." replied the girl, not seeming to get the hint.

Norman however, did.

"But you must need to be somewhere. Look, you can repay me by getting home safely, I-I can even call a cab for you! Please, I insist."

This caused confusion to rise within the blonde. "Why do you seem to want me to go so soon huh? I thought you were interested in me??" Ok, that's it.

"Pardon m-"

"Excuse me???"

Norman gulped. This isn't gonna be good.

-

"Emma, I really don't think that was necessary."

"What else was I supposed to do?? She was getting a little too friendly to my liking right in front of me!" pouted the redhead, crossing her arms in the way she always does when she's upset.

Emma's rarely ever mad or upset and she's never felt the need to hate or be jealous of anyone.

He hates to admit it, but he finds this side of her utterly adorable--and a little terrifying--but just utterly adorable.

Gotta give the wife what she wants right?
