It was one of Rui’s sleepless nights. It didn’t feel normal though. It felt great. So much stress relief, and he felt warm and happy. He smiled at the screen, which had Tsukasa running around his house, trying to find a coat. Rui had invited him to sneak out.
“Be more quiet, Tsukasa-kun. You might get caught.” Rui chuckled, in a whispering tone. “Yeah, and you’ll get caught with that charming ass laugh!-“ Tsukasa blurted out, still trying to whisper. His camera was on, and he was blushing. “Ooh, found one. Alright, meet me outside your house?” Tsukasa asked. “Yep. I can’t wait to see you, Tsukasa..” Rui whispered. He wondered if he was heard or not. But that didn’t matter. They ended the voice call, and Rui waited, sitting on the windowsill. He couldn’t wait. He had a plan, Emu planned it out for him. He was gonna kiss Tsukasa tonight.
Tsukasa tapped at the windowpane, trying not to make much noice. Rui turned his head, smiling. He hopped off and opened the window. “What happened to a silent stealth mission?” Rui smirked. Tsukasa put a hand on his hip and put one hand out for Rui to grab. “I’m sure no one heard that..now cmon, let’s get going!” Tsukasa said with enthusiasm. Rui grabbed his hand and hopped out, immediately getting pulled by Tsukasa, who was running. Rui’s cheeks lit up a bit. They were holding hands. Why was he so worked up about this? He couldn’t seem to find an answer.
Tsukasa had taken him to the theme park. Which was still open. It was only 10 PM. The park didn’t close until a long while, surprisingly. Rui still held his hand. Tsukasa didn’t seem to mind as they ran off to the rides. The vibrant lights and the nice cold breeze made the experience even better.
To Rui, this felt so romantic. Tsukasa secretly felt the same. Rui’s heart pounded the whole time. Tsukasa was in a rhythm with him. They ended up going on the Ferris Wheel. “Hm..doesn’t the city just look like a scale model from here?” Tsukasa asked Rui. “Yeah..” Rui let out a shivery breath, smiling, and letting out a slight hum. Tsukasa looked at him straight in the eyes. “Rui..you okay?” Tsukasa asked. “Oh, mhm. Just a bit chilly.” Rui responded.
Tsukasa leaned up close to him. “Your cheeks are red, your not cold!” Tsukasa said. Rui’s eyes met with his, as the distance between them began to close. “So are yours. Tsukasa-kun.” Tsukasa blushed at that. Rui’s voice was always so..dominant. And handsome. But so soft and kind. Tsukasa’s heart was beating so fast. Rui’s too. But Rui took initiative. He cupped Tsukasa’s face and pulled him in. Their lips met, making Tsukasa’s heart skip a beat. Rui’s hand trailed down to Tsukasa’s thigh, his other hand still on his cheek. Rui let go to breathe. Tsukasa looked like a rose. All red. But beautiful. Rui smirked his devilish smirk. “Oh you..” Tsukasa said. “You planned this out, right?” He stated. “Well, you’ve deciphered my secret.” Rui giggled. “..It worked.” Tsukasa mumbled. “I guess..uh..”
Tsukasa wrapped his arms around Rui. “I guess I do love you, Rui..” Tsukasa smiled. Rui smiled. This time, it wasn’t a devilish smirk. It wasn’t the face of someone with a bad idea. He was..genuinely happy. “I guess I love you too, Tsukasa.”
That night, Rui didn’t sleep. At all. He didn’t feel deprived at all. Because it was the best night ever.
After all, how could he sleep after finally having a night with Tsukasa. At the Theme Park, and at his home.
“I love you, Tsukasa..” Rui said, facing Tsukasa. “I love you too, Rui.”
