“Let It Go!” Amaya jumped up and got in her brother’s face.
“Nuh uh, it’s We Don’t Talk About Bruno!” Andrew stamped his feet.
“No. Frozen is better!”
“You’re wrong! It’s Encanto.”
Chris came shimmying into the family room singing, “We don’t talk about Bruno, no, no…” shifting his eyes back and forth dramatically.
The little girl hit his arms as Chris mocked defeat, and Andrew pumped his fist.
“I’m with Team Frozen,” Sophia yawned from the couch.
“Hey hey hey! We can watch both,” came Mariska’s voice loud and clear over the chaos. She set a bowl of popcorn on the coffee table and flopped back onto the other couch, curling her bare feet under her legs and patting the spot next to her.
Chris gave her a questioning look, but grabbed a throw and sat down next to her.
“We’ll watch both and then we all can vote on which movie is best,” Mariska decided.
Chris rolled his eyes. “How diplomatic.”
