Chapter Text
A light shade of blue in her hair. Golden sunset eyes, and tall stature.
“Ah, Eula Lawrence, one of the most shunned upon girls in Tevyat high,” said Jean.
“Every time she steps foot in a hall way, people shuffle each other out of the way. Trying to get away from a Lawrence. Lawrence’s were known for being a bloodline of tyrants,” commented the blond.
You never cared for the rumors around her. All you knew is that she has a goal. To get revenge upon those who displeased her. Other than that, everything else is mystery to you.
“I honestly don’t get why people judge her for who Eula’s ancestors were,” you said while you walked next to Jean.
“I agree, no one should carry the name and the judgment form people who Eula may have never met,” Jean calmly stated.
The bell rang loudly above, signally the start of the new school day. You said your bye to Jean as you headed towards your first class. You shuffled into class along with many other classmates. One of whom were Eula her self. Hutao sat next to you and blabbered on about her weekend. Something about a zombie, and trying the burry her. That girl always had so much energy so early in the morning that you envied her. As you zoned out as you gaze seems to travel on it’s own and landed on a certain person.
“Yo!”
The brunette waved a hand in your face catching your attention.
“You we’re staring at someone, hmmm wonder who it is,” Hutao inquired
“It’s Eula isn’t it?” The brunette stated. Catching the attention on the Lawrence that sat in front of you. A blush suddenly appeared on your cheek at her words.
“No! No! Your wrong!” You scream whispered,” I wasn’t looking at anyone! Your hallucinating, Hutao!” You tried to hide your face in your hands but to no avail.
“So I’m right, you like her?” Hutao pressed on more with a teasing tone.
“ I do not!”
Before Hutao could say another word class started. Mr. Zhongli walked in and started his teaching. You still couldn’t get the brunette’s words out of your head. You never liked Eula before, so why did you act this way. Hutao was now passed out on her desk, drooling onto her paper, and on everything. ‘What am I going to do with you’ you thought.
Mr. Zhongli’s class was always boring. You begin to tone out his words as your gaze landed on Eula again. Her soft lips on your skin- what was your imagination going off to! It’s simply a random thought and Eula must like guys right? So you probably had no chance and it would be better if you didn’t think about it, otherwise if may leave you hurt.
“Eula, what was the reason behind the passage on page 34, paragraph 3,” Mr. Zhongli asked.
“The author may be implying that they felt a certain emotion towards this person, but they won’t confront it as it may leave them more distraught, and hurt if they didn’t,” Eula simply replied. Her voice was a little deeper and made it insanely attractive to you. Your head slowly drifted off to less the innocent thoughts. It was always like this in every class you have with her. It has only been a week into the new semester and it wasn’t starting off that great. Constantly day dreaming about Eula.
A few classes later, it was finally lunch time. As you were packing your things to head out of class, Eula walked up to you,
“D-do you want to hang out in the library, after school?” Did she just stutter? That’s so cute.
“Sure,” you replied, pink tinting your cheeks.
“Aaaaa I got my paper wet in English! Now I can’t read my notes. Can I borrow yours? Pretty pleaseeee,” Hutao begged her arms around yours, and tugging on your sleeves,” it’s an important upcoming test I need those notesss pleaseee, I can’t fail this one!”
“Fine Hutao, you actually have to study this time. Not play Genshin impact all the time after school.”
“ Thank you! I only play for a little bit. Not even a few hours. Oh! Reminds me I got this new character” hutao blabbered on. Once you get hutao started on that game she never stops.
Hutao waits for you at the school gate to walk home with you.
“Hiya! How was your day.” She beamed. Hutao was always excited when school was over, it was her least favorite part of the day.
“ it was good! Eula had invited me to the library after school.” You replied.
“REALLY! Wear something pretty! And, andddd invite her to go on a date while you’re at it too! My best friend is finally getting a date, it has been years.” Hutao said the last part almost crying.
“Stop it Tao Tao! It’s just a hangout nothing more.” Your face now tinted pink for the third time this week.
“Plus I’m pretty sure Eula isn’t into me. Have you seen how close she is with Kaeya? Seems like those two are together…” the rest of your sentence started to drift off.
“ Ugn don’t be such a downer! Send me texts on how the date went~” Retorted Hutao. You almost shoved Hutao into the pole next to you guys.
You two now reached the Brunette’s house and wave good bye to each other. Arriving home, you took a shower and changed into more comfortable clothes.
Grabbing your phone, shoved it into your pocket and started biking to the local library. At the entrance waited Eula in a black hoodie, leaning against the wall on her phone.
