The Pain You'll Feel

Summary:

Hi! This is the first chapter of my newest work, its really short and most chapters will be, my apologies. I will try to upload as much as possible though. I will probably have Grammer mistakes as I have no beta readers but hopefully it's still legible.

Notes:

(See the end of the work for notes.)

Work Text:

So here I am, staring into the eyes of the one and only Eraserhead, villains and vigilantes alike, their worst enemy. I'm no different, he's interrupted one too many of my patrols, trying to catch me and all that, he's lucky he can erase my quirk.

My quirk is quite powerful, I can make someone feel all emotional pain I have felt in the past, which for a 16 year old vigilante, is quite a bit so there's some positive to my situation at least. Speaking of, I should probably explain how this all started.

*8 years ago, OC is 8 years old*

"M-mom?" They stuttered out, looking around the park where their mother had brought them. They hadn’t gone far, simply moving to play on the swings as that was their favorite part of the park, but when they were done and turned to look for their mother, she was nowhere to be found.

They may not have had the greatest relationship with their mother but she wouldn’t just leave them, right?..

They began to panic, running up to strangers to ask if they’d seen her, growing more and more concerned as it got darker but no adults seemed to be bothered by the lone child at the park at night. They ran over to one of the coverings as it started to rain, so they sat down and cried silently to themselves, not knowing what to do.

They fell asleep alone, cold and crying, wondering what they had done to deserve this, was it some form of karma? They didn't know but sleep greeted them quickly.

Notes:

Hope you enjoy this chapter, again I apologize for how short it is, also the main characters name and vigilante name will be revealed in following chapters, so stay tuned! I definitely accept constructive criticism, so let me know what you think in the comments.
