Foggy broke into matt's house, to be fair it was their house and even if it's a weak legal defense, sentimentally it was strong enough for him to commit trespassing.
"everything remains the same."
He went straight to matt's room because he just knew he wouldn't be home, he never was, why would it be any different? lemon and blue, her cats were there on their silk sheets sleeping.
He could not convince him to give him the cats and never understood why, he never wanted pets but when they were rescued he became the best cat dad.
he knew it would be hard to forget him being there but he still needed him so much. Just a month ago they used to be accomplices, nelson and murdock, lawyers at law. a small part of him needed to see matt and ask him what the fuck changed but matt as usual didnt come back in the night and foggy fell asleep there with lemon, the orange cat next to him and blue, his black and white baby on his belly.
the next morning it only took a sigh from matt to wake him up, foggy knew matt knew he was the one in his bed and saw him go "come here." it was totally an order. Foggy was never so demanding in the past but he deserved to know, "tell me the truth, have mercy and tell me why... how did you stop loving me... if i could still bear your lack of love."
"It's inevitable, everything good comes to an end..." he pauses "It's impossible that we can be friends."
"We where happy, why does it has to be this way?, I thought you love me" foggy start to sobbing "are you wearing that to get out of my life?."
"I've told you I can't stop being daredevil, and it's hard for daredevil not to hurt you, so we both leave you alone so you can be happy with someone else."
Foggy is crying by this point, not dramatically but quietly with tears rolling down his eyes. He just gets up without thinking about blue who disappeared long ago, walks over to Matt and kisses him as if to change his mind.
"Even though it's over, you should stay the night, yeah" Matt looks like he's rethinking his whole choice over everything, his gaze already lost from his blindness looks even more lost now "If tomorrow you won't be mine."
"Will you give it to me one last time?."
"Yeah" hesitation? "One last time" no more doubts, only sadness.
