After the last time wishing and didn't get Keqing, the traveler continues her daily life in teyvat. No matter where she is, every day she always works hard like a slave. She even does a random things like helping search for a cat, delivering food, and whatever the adventure guild gives her.
The heaviest job she always does no matter she likes it or not is challenging the spiral abbys. And today is the day where it's reset, and the day for a chance a new partner will accompany her in her next journey.
After thinking about strategy and the best party she should bring, Lumine sighed and then went into the spiral.
On the 9th and 10th floors, everything went well as always. But, when she steps into the 11th floor, Lumine sighed again after she sees what kind of monsters waiting for her.
“Wish me luck” mumbled Lumine and then she went in with the party she choose.
After a while, she finally finished the 11th floor with a perfect score in exchange for half of her sanity. And when she sees the 12th floor’s monsters, she just says “fuck” and then goes into the 12th floor.
In part one, she went in with Hu tao, Qiqi, Mona, and Fischl. And at part two she brings Eula, Ayaka, Shenhe, and Jean. In the first room, she finished it in 6 minutes more or less, and in the second room, because she forgot to bring a person that can give a shield, she was barely able to finish it and so she decided to get out of the spiral first and then she changes Fischl with Diona.
And then when she challenges the second room again, she manages to clear it in 5 minutes, and all of that thanks to the second party. If her second party isn’t that strong maybe she can’t finish it before 5 minutes over because in part one, the party takes a pretty much long time to finish their enemy.
In the last room, just thinking about it makes her headaches but because she doesn’t have any other choices, she does it and like what she predicted, in part one, Diona’s shield isn’t that strong to cover all of the ruins guard’s missiles or the shield can’t last that long and when that happened, her party always get stomped or get shot by the ruins guard’s missiles and what makes it worst, her party that consists Hu tao as DPS is with Qiqi in the same party so she can’t unleash her full power. So she finished part one in 5 minutes with Diona, and Mona as sacrifices. In part two, because of Eula’s ultimate that’s hard to get full, it cost pretty much time too although it’s not as bad as the first team. And then finally Lumine get out of the 12th floor just with 5 stars / 9 stars.
Seeing the result makes Lumine clench her teeth, and then she said “Damnit! at least give me another star! I know I can’t make it perfect but why that kind of result!” After that, Lumine challenges the 12th floor again with another combination of parties.
After no one knows how many times, she finally gets 6 stars on the 12th floor. “Finally!” says Lumine half irritated, half happy.
“And then it’s time to wish again” said Lumine while going to the wishing place “I still didn’t get Yae and because the last time I got Jean, this time it must be Yae for sure.”
Holding about 50 interwinds with her, she holds the first 10 of her interwinds, and then she said “Please come to me Yae!” and then from the sky fall shooting stars with gold color. “OMG! I-I don’t think she will come this fast! But thank you!!” screams Lumine happy she can get Yae in her first pull.
And then paimon said, “Maybe it’s a way Celestia appreciated your effort clearing monsters in spiral abbys.”
“If it’s like that, I don’t mind losing half of my sanity every time I challenge spiral abbys!” said Lumine happily while she sees Yae Miko walking slowly to her.
“Yosha, let’s wish her weapon next!”
“I don’t think you will get lucky in there. It’s 2 times harder than wishing the person you know.” said paimon trying to reason with Lumine.
“Don’t worry, even if I don’t get her weapon, if I get the sword, I can give it to Keqing….” And then she continues with a low voice “Although I don’t have her…ha…ha..ha…”
“You just get Yae Miko you know! Why suddenly getting dark like that!”
*cough*
“Sorry just feels a little emotional.” said Lumine. And then she takes another 10 interwinds and said “no matter what I get I just hope I can get it quick!” and then from the sky fall shooting stars with purple color.
“yeah-yeah I know it will not come that easily” said Lumine and then prepared her next interwind.
“Whatever happens, happens” said Lumine nonchalantly, and then from the sky fall shooting stars with gold color
“P-PAIMONNNNN!! I-I am seeing it right, right!?!?” Said Lumine while shaking Pamion’s whole body.
“S-stop shaking me!!” Scream paimon
And then when the shooting stars end, the weapon falls, and there, she sees Yae Miko’s weapon in the ground with another trash weapon.
“I don’t know what should I say about this” said Lumine while pretending to wipe her tears and then she pick up the weapon and then give it to Yae Miko that’s beside her the whole time.
“Thank you, traveler. I don’t think you will get my weapon too but I appreciated it. Maybe we should hold a party after this.” said Yae while keeping her weapon.
“Yeah, I think I will do that! But, I will use all of my remaining Interwind first. Maybe I can get another copy of you? or maybe Keqing!?” said Lumine jokingly.
“What a greedy girl you are. But I don’t hate it. Especially if you do it for me” said Yae Miko while chuckling.
After that, Lumine uses All of her interwinds. And at her last 10th wish, she sees another gold color shooting stars.
“OMG, I THINK I USED ALL OF MY LUCK THIS YEAR!” said Lumine loudly. And then she continues “PLEASE KEQINGGG!!!”
Hearing Lumine screams another girl’s name, Yae frowns her brow and said “Shouldn’t you pray it’s another copy of me” said Yae curtly, and coldly.
But because of her excitement, she didn’t hear what Yae said and just stared at the field in front of her to see who will come out. And after a while, she sees a silhouette of a girl holding a sword in front of her chest that she knows very well “NOOOOOO!!!!” screams Lumine in defeat while kneeling on the ground.
Even though she just sees the silhouette, she knows from the pose it’s Jean. And truly not long after that Jean comes to her sides and said “I’m sorry I come again….” guiltily.
Seeing Jean make a face like that makes Lumine’s heart clench and she feels guilty because she acts like that in front of her “No, it’s not your fault….Just don’t mind me. I’m really grateful you always come to me” said Lumine while forcing a smile.
On the other hand, Yae holds back her laugh seeing Lumine’s reaction. At first, she feels like she’s being ignored but when she sees Lumine kneeling on the ground she feels amused.
“Let’s just go back to the pot. She’s just being a drama queen. Just leave her be and she will recover by it itself” said paimon indifferently because she knows she can’t do anything about it.
After that, Yae follows paimon to the pot in a good mood while Jean follows them slowly, still feeling guilty about everything.
