Chapter Text
"Ugh, can't the results come out already?" Shax Lied was currently lying face down in front of a screen with letters spelling "Level Complete". He was worried he didn't pass the entrance exam to Babyls. That would mean he needed to search for a different school and write another exam, which he would rather avoid.
"Come on little brother. It hasn't even been a day and you are already panicking? Calm down now, will you?", his sister, Shakky, said while rummaging through his stuff. "Instead you can tell me where your snacks are." "Definitely not under my bed!", he grabbed his sisters hand before she could reach under it. "Ugh, don't you have your own snacks?"
“You know“, Shakky looked at him “it kinda hurts to see you like this.“ She seemed to think about something for a short while, before suddenly lightning up.
She removed his hand from hers and went to his gaming console. “So let's distract you!“ Lied followed her a bit confused. “And how exactly are you planning to? I already tried to distract myself with gaming.“ and it didn't work much to Lieds big disappointment. “and I don't remember you really liking to play.“
“'Cause just to play against each other is boring, that's why we will make a bet!“, She seemed to shine while saying that.
“No.“
“Oh come on littl' bro! You didn't even let me finish!“
“Because I don't want to hear it.”
“It's not like I will win, so you have nothing to lose. Besides don't you think it would be fun? You get a distraction and a game partner, and I get my little bet.”, Shakky said with pleading eyes, but she noticed that he still wouldn't budge. 'Come on Lied, can't you let me have at least a little fun?' “If you win, I won't annoy you for a whole week!” 'and you know how hard that is for me!'
“For you to go as far as to suggest that...”, Lied muttered to himself, before finally giving in: “Fine but make it four weeks.”
“Two and a half and it's a deal! Three rounds, no using any magic nor any distractions.”

Maybe he should have seen it coming. Maybe he should have disagreed. Not have fallen for his sisters pleas. Not have forgotten the number one rule in every bet you make, as he listened to his sisters wish. As he looked at the red letters 'Game Over' for the second time.
Always ask what your opponent wants, in case you lose. How could he forget that?
“You want me to what?” , Lied looked at his sister in shock, hoping to have misheard what she said.
“You heard me dear brother.”, she said with the scariest of smiles. “You will come with me to a party! But you see, no one really wants a boy there. So of course I won't bring my boring little brother there, but my devi adorable, devi cute, devi sweet littl' sister!” as she said that, she posed dramatically at each word she deemed worthy (these being of course the part where she talks about her adorable, cute, swe-).
And no, it seems like Lied, indeed, didn't mishear what she said.
And while he didn't want to do it, a bet is a bet and he isn't one to back of in the last second. Shakky clearly won 2 to 0 (How?), so he had no choice but to... but to...
'You want to dress me up as a girl and as if that is not bad already, want me to go out like that!?' He panicked inside.
“Dear sister did you know how much I-“
”Nuh uh. Sweet talking won't help you here.“, Shakky said while covering his mouth with her hand. ”Do you know how jealous I get whenever they talk about their siblings? They all seem to have a special bond. But we? We have none of that.”, she wiped a fake tear away “So I will create one."
She looked so proud of her idea, so determined to make it happen. Lied never thought he would see that expression on his lazy sisters face. But now that he saw it there, he realized...
...that it disgusted him.
”Ewww, did you just lick my hand?“

Lied couldn't sleep.
Shakky told him the party would be tomorrow night, so he could rest today.
He didn't know what to think of it. His normally lazy sister really wants to go to a party? And drag him there aswell?
She really went as far as to make a bet with him with the chance to lose and not annoy him for two weeks.
But the most surprising thing was...
...that she actually won! Without cheating! You know, Shakky. Shax 'video games are boring' Shakky.
He really should have asked what she wanted in return. Now that he thought about it, how could he forget about that? Normally he would never make a bet without knowing everything there is to know about it, so he could use the loopholes his opponent left. Never.
This was the first time after so long.
Right now, Lied would rather write another exam than wake up tomorrow.
(He would not)

He didn't expect Shakky to barge in his room this early. He thought because the party would be at night and he was free 'till then. He still had at least 2 hours.
Looks like he was wrong.
Right now his sister was showing him a devi devi beautiful dress.
It was a mainly black sleeveless dress with tiny yellow stars that are slowly fading to red in the front of the upper half. In the back is a small opening with a lot of strips as decoration. The lower half of the dress, which was separated with a belt, was a knee long skirt. To accompany the dress were two black low heel boots with dark red shoelaces.
A really beautiful dress, definitely not for Lied.
”Don't you think you are taking this a little bit to serious? This looks really expensive.“, Lied looked at the dress with worry. He was supposed to wear that?
”Do you like it?“, she asked him with curiosity. ”If I like it? I think the dress is devil devil beautiful. Just not for me.“, Lied answered a bit embarrassed.
“Thanks” “Huh?”

No one could have prepared him of what was to come.
The dress was the easiest to manage. But the moment Shakky started to do his make up and hair, all hell broke lose.
Make up style after make up style, hair style after hair style. Nothing managed to satisfy her.
In the end she stuck with simple make up. As for the hair: she extended it with a spell with a promise of 'I will cut it for you later. Promise!' which he honestly doubted, to a shoulders lenght, and braided the right side of it. The other side she cut so it would make a side bang covering his eye.
All in all, he looked beautiful. He, Lied, looked beautiful.
“No crying! It will destroy the my masterpiece...”, Shakky was proud of her creation. 'There is no way I wont do this again! Sorry not sorry little brother.'
While Shakky was admiring her job, Lied was annoyed he wasn't able to progress far in the game. “To what kind of party are we going exactly?“ ”Ah, don't worry about it littl' br- littl' sis, just a small party amongst friends.
Ah I still need to dress up myself wait a moment", as fast as she said that, she ran into her room. It would take a while for her to be ready, but Lied wasn't complaining. He would finally be able to clear this stupid level and prepare himself mentally.

They were currently flying to their destination. Leid was able to convince his sister and was wearing a black cloak that hid him and his dress.
Shakky wore something similar to Leid: instead of a skirt, her dress was long and had a slit and her heels were high heels. Her stars were also black instead of orangy-red like his. Her hair was her everyday hair just a bit... cleaner.
The flight was quite long till they finally reached their destination and Leid was definitely not imagining this when he heard just a small party among friends.
More demons than he could count were flying in the building. The building being a big mansion. 'no guys welcome? Really sister?' he thought, while looking at the guys entering the building.
“Before I forget. Right now you are not Leid my little brother anymore, but Lindy my little sister, understood?”
This is a mistake.
