“What? Where am I?” Jacob looked around. His usual tannish red wolf body had been replaced with a shiny new white one. He was surrounded by mountains and there were weird things flying around.
He tried to speak aloud again, but all that came out was, “DUME.” He was so confused. He ran and ran until he encountered a hexagonal spaceship. There were two men grilling steak outside of it.
Well, to be honest, only one of them was really a man. The other…thing was tall, purple, and hideous. Jacob hoped that his new body was not whatever that is.
The actual, strawberry blonde fellow with mutton chops had a look of fear in his eyes as Jacob approached them. Were they werewolf phobic or what? Jesus.
“Zebbie, look out! The scent of this meat attracted a lothwolf.”
“What the fuck is a lothwolf?” Jacob tried to say. “I’m a werewolf!” But all that came out was DUME.
The purple thing approached him and he reached out a hand so that Jacob could sniff it. The purple thing guy or whatever looked like he was approaching a lost puppy. “Here, puppy, we won’t hurt you.”
He tossed a piece of steak at Jacob’s feet. Jacob leant down and ate it. Yum…so good. Due to traveling through the multiverse he hadn’t eaten in so, so long. Not since he’d stopped by that farm in the year 2045. They’d had some tasty cattle…yum, yum, yum.
“Oh, Kal, can’t we keep him? You know I’ve always wanted a dog? And, Jason would just adore him!” said the purple Australian alien.
The human man sighed, and looked to contemplate his lover’s request for a long moment. “Fine.” He reached out to pet Jacob’s head. “I don’t think lothwolves are supposed to be pets, but I’ll do anything to make you happy, my love!”
