Jay had no choice but to pretend as his his twin brother because he knows that his brother been aiming for this position, for Jay his brother is the most important person, despite of the ill treatment he receive from his younger brother, he never hold grudge on him, he just want his brother to be happy and successful.
Due to an accident Jay pretended to be his younger brother Jongseong and went to his work just like a normal day.
Gladly Jay's friend Jungwon was also working there, he narrated the story to Jungwon and asked for instructions and guidance for their work, Jungwon didn't hesitate and tried his best to help Jay.
CEO Park Sunghoon is obligated to stay at the company to supervise for 2 months for him to choose who he thinks fits the position the most.
Park Sunghoon the CEO called for an announcement, announcement for the list of qualifiers for the position.
Jay just followed Jungwon where they should go since he is not aware of his surroundings, he still dont know the roundabouts of the company.
"Our CEO Mr. Park, would announce the list of qualifiers for the position of director, he himself would choose who he thinks deserves the position, we invited you all today to say that your opinion is also important for this matter, after two months we would get your opinions who you think also fits the best, lets welcome our CEO Mr. Park Sunghoon" his secretary said.
Everyone clapped their hands as a welcome to their ceo. Jay on the other hand was suprise on how good looking their CeO is, broad shoulders, tall, white skin, silver haired and he wouldnt deny that Mr. Park is both handsome and beautiful.
"Let's get to the point, this six qualifiers exhibits talents, conviction, leadership, discipline and management which we think needed the best for this job. The qualifiers on the list are: Lee Heeseung, Jake Sim, Kim Sunoo, Nishimura Riki, Park Jongseong and Yang Jungwon, within 2 months you must show how capable and hardworking you are, we wish you all good luck" Mr. Park announce and left immediately.
Jay was shocked that his bestfriend Jungwon is now his rival for this position, Jungwon is as much as shock as Jay he never expected to be on the list.
"Don't worry Jay I will not expose you just for that position, I still think Im not qualified like others to be on that position" Jungwon smiled.
"Im sorry but my brother really need this position so I will do whatever I can, and this is embarrassing but could you help me?" Jay asked.
"Of course! weve been friends since highschool and I also think your brother deserves the spot even tho he's so mean" Jungwon said raising his eyebrows.
Jay finish his works two weeks already good thing its either paper works or computer based work which he excels the most, within those two weeks he tried to avoid his boss because he thinks that what if Jongseong and Mr.Park have met already and what if he notice its not him? I will surely get fired. so he tried his best to avoid him.
Mr. Park been supervising for two weeks, the qualifiers been like a leech to him, well he expected it, they are all trying their best to have a good impression on him, he knows that it was all an act and he was annoyed by it. Within those weeks it was only Jongseong who doesnt even talk to him, and when he tries to have eye contact with him, Jongseong immediately moves or walks away, he was suprise and curious by the different action of Jongseong.
They said curiosity kills, Mr. Park wanted to ask why Jongseong is not doing anything to impress him so he tried, Mr. Park went to cafeteria where he saw Jongseong, he planned to talk to him but Jongseong immediately hid under the table. He also went to to Jongseong's office but when he saw him he suddenly write on his paper randomly, Mr. Park just laugh because his pen is upside down. They also once met in the bathroom.
Jay was changing his clothes in the bathroom when suddenly the door opened.
"What the fuck- dont you know how to knock?!" Jay shouted topless.
"Ohh sorry the door isnt locked" Mr. Park said and immediately close the door.
"oh shit what have I done, I will not get fired right? I'll just apologize." Jay thought.
"Sir, Im sorry, I didnt mean to curse, I was just really suprise and shock" jay said through the close door.
"Its okay, just get it done, Im going to use the bathroom" Mr. Park answered.
Because of embarrassment Jay pretended to be talking on the phone and leaves the bathroom as fast as he can, not looking at his boss.
"Jongseong!" Mr. Park shouted
"Yes sir?" Jay answered.
"Uhmm that's not your phone on your ear, I think that's your Id" Mr. park added.
"Ahahaha" jay laugh awkwardly,
"I know sir, I sometimes talks to my Id" Jay said and run to leave the situation.
"You're so fucking dumb Jay!!" Jay shouted to himself.
Mr. Park just laughs it out, because he never thought that Jongseong could be so embarrassing and funny like that, he always thought thatJongseong gives off cold and serious aura.
Mr. Park went to his own office and remembered all his meetings with Jongseong, its their first time talking since his supervising, he realize that Jongseong is avoiding him, INTENTIONALLY avoiding.
Another week has past and Jongseong still avoiding him, "what could be the reason? is he afraid of me? does he not want the position? If he wants the position he should be talking a lot with me just like the others" Mr. Park thoughts to himself.
Mr. Park thought of an idea to test if he was really avoiding him, he told his secretary to order Jongseong to move the boxes from the fifth floor to the 2nd floor and it was their boss order, this job is out of Jay's work, he'll see if Jongseong will come and complain to him.
Its been 2 hours Mr. Park receives no complain, he decided to check Jongseong, upon checking he saw Jongseong carrying two boxes and talking to an old lady janitress. He was impressed how Jongseong carry those two boxes and even help the janiteress pull the heavy cleaning equipments. He even gave a drink to the old janitress. Mr. Park was suprise by Jay's action and shock how Jay gaves of sunshine smile that is very different from his cold aura.
After finishing moving the boxes, Jay went to his locker to change clothes, he saw a little note.
"What could this be? Oh its my brother's note" Jay opened the note where he saw, Jongseong letter to their boss, he was curious and opened other envelopes where he saw photographs of their boss. Jay realize that Jongseong maybe likes Mr. Park, or his brother is inlove with Mr. Park. Upon realization Jay remembered how embarassing he was infront of Mr. Park.
"What if Mr. Park is disgusted on me? then Jongseongs love life would be my fault, if I only new this sooner" he said to himself.
"No, I will not let that happen, this is the first time I saw him keeping pictures of someone he must like Mr. Park so much, I'll do whatever I can, I'll try to make him fall inlove, and when Jongseong wakes up for sure he will be happy" Jay thought again.
Jay brace his self, and Immediately went to his office, while on the way he pass by Mr. Park.
"Good afternoon sir, have a great day" Jay said with force smile and left.
Mr. Park was in total shock, he couldnt believe that finally Jongseong talk to him
"could it be because its just a month till the promotion?" Mr. Park thought.
Days had passed and Jay would greet Mr. Park everytime they meet each other.
The doctors that is taking care of his younger brother just called and told him that his brother is showing consciousness already, tho he is not awake yet he is showing movements, and could probably wake up in a week or sooner.
Upon hearing the good news, Jay immediately went to his plan to make his boss fall inlove with him, he went to the cafe near their company and bought drinks.
"Goodmorning sir, can I come in?" jay asked.
"yes" Mr. Park answered.
"I bought you a drink sir, its a shake for refreshment weve been so busy this days"
"Its a strawberry milkshake? do you know its my favorite drink?" Mr. Park asked.
"No sir, its also my favorite, good thing we have the same taste" Jay answered.
Jay actually read Jongseong's note at his locker that Mr. Park loves strawberry milkshake that's why it is the drink he bought.
The next 3 days Jay always brings a lunch box with different dishes he cooks himself for his boss, his boss just told him to put it besides the table, jay do as what Mr. Park said.
"What does Jongseong even like to this Mr. Park, he's mean and I feel like talking to a wall" Jay asked himself.
The next day Jay get tired and didnt bring any dish, because he thought that his boss are not even eating it.
"Jongseong the boss ask for you, go to his office" mr. Park secretary said.
Jay stands up and fix his papers and went to his boss office.
"Sir you called for me?" Jay asked.
"Yes, its about ahh--" Mr. Park hesitates to tell him.
"What is it sir?" Jay asked again
"Its about the uhmm lunch box? you didnt bring any today?" Mr. Park asked in embarassment
"Sorry, I didnt bring any today sir, I thought your not eating them" jay said.
"What?!!" Mr. Park shouted in suprise. "Ahe-ahem what? No, Im eating, ahm its actually delicious, I have a very sensitive taste but I kind of like your cooking and I havent had my lunch today" Mr. park said.
"Then lets go to the cafeteria kitchen sir, I'll cook for you" Jay said.
Mr. Park hesitated but still went together with Jay to the kitchen. Mr. Park watch Jay cook, he thinks that if Jay isnt in the office he could be a professional chef, he looks very different when cooking, he pouts his lips when cutting meats and onions, maybe he pouts when he's serious on doing things
Jay just finish cooking and fix the table where his boss will eat.
"Its done sir, you can eat now" Jay said
"How about you? are you leaving?" Mr. Park asked.
"Ah yes sir, I heard you dont want to eat with someone, right?" jay asked.
"Yes, but you could eat with me today, Its you dish after all" Mr. Park answered.
"Okay then sir, Im actually hungry" Jay said.
they eat in silence, no one dared to talk or start a conversation.
Jay finish eating and told his boss that he will leave first, when Jay was about to leave, he sits back again and asked his boss.
"Mr. Park can we have lunch tomorrow again? together?" Jay asked. The question made Mr. Park choke to his food.
"Yes maybe if you'll cook again" Mr. Park answered while wiping his mouth.
Jay feels like he's now doing great and atleast made a little change between their relationship.
Its been a week, Jay and Mr. Park eat their lunch daily, they can say that they got closer than before.
Jay realize that Mr. Park is actually cute and a softie inside if you just get to know him. They even went out on weekends to eat, Mr. Park said its a payment for Jay's cooking.
Mr. Park realize his growing feelings to Jongseong, he tried to brush it off many times, he's confuse with his gender but it was all enlightened when he get to know Jongseong more. Mr. Park finally decided to confess with Jongseong he dont care if he doesnt like him back he just want to let the other know.
Mr. Park finally made up his mind and invited Jongseong to a dinner.
"Hey Jongseong can I invite you today for a dinner?" Mr. Park asked
"Sure sir, we havent had dinner before" Jay said.
During the dinner, after eating Mr. Park didnt waste any time and started his confession.
"Jongseong I-I- I have something to tell you" Mr. Park said in a nervous voice.
"What is it?" Jay asked.
"You know you're the closest person I have in the company, I know you never get close to me just for the promotion, you never use me. You even cook and brings food to me, You help me a lot of times, when my step mom came and you know." Jay remembered what happened when "Mr. Park was shouted and was almost slap by a woman in the parking lot, when the woman was about to slap him, Jay catches the womans hand and puts it down, he hold Mr. Park's hand and they walked away, he never ask who that girl is or what happened, he just help him get out of the situation.
"What about that sir?" Jay asked
"I know it must be weird, I dont care if you hate me after this but I hope not.......... I like you Jongseong" Mr. Park said looking into jay's eyes.
Jay was too stunned to speak, he was silent for about 2 minutes. "Wait did I hear that right? I made him like me? What should I answer, should I say I like him too? Yes I should tell him I also like him, Jongseong will wake soon, she will be suprised if they are dating" Jay thoughts.
"Mr. Park, dont worry I wont hate you, Im thinking about this feeling too, I also like you" Jay said embarass looking on the ground.
Mr. Park suddenly went near him and hold his chin up. "What the fuck, dont tell me he will kiss me?!!" Jay thought.
He realize that Mr. Park's face is coming closer near him, why does he doesnt avoid it? why does he not hate how close their face are? why does he feel like he want to get closer too and touch those pink lips?
RinggggggGgGggg, suddenly Jay's phone rang and he answered the phone that made Mr. Park sit on his chair again.
"Hello is this Jay? Mr. Jongseong's guardian? Im his doctor."
"Hello, yes what happened to my brother?!" jay asked in so much worry.
"Dont worry its a good news, your brother regained consciousness and looking for you"
"Okay tell him wait for me I'll come" jay answered and turn of the call.
"Mr. Park sorry I need to go" . it was Jay's last word before he left.
