Mitama clapped and her smile widened at the sight of her new creations. It was something she was developing for a long time and she finally perfected! Her younger sister even loved it so she was looking forward to sharing it everyone else! It was the prefect blend of chocolate, various of vegetables (need to have some nutrition) ,and of course...her secret ingredient...A whole jar of Carolina reapers! It was so hard for her to get her hands on it ,but she couldn't be any happier!
Now who to share this wonderful creations with...As Momoko came to mind, her thoughts was cut short when someone called out to her ,wanting to get some adjustments done she assumed. Her attention went to the person who entered, forgetting about the blond girl. Momoko was safe for now ,but unfortunately to whoever entered, they were not.
Mitama walked away from where she was to have a better look..To her surprise and delight it was Leila and she appeared to brought her friends along. Seika and Mito if she recalled correctly. Mitama first met them during a festival and those three were in charge to take care of an event they were hosting. Mitama of course, participated in it! Along with Kanagi too! Together, they learned to make such a delicious meal! She recalled seeing their face turn to one of "delight " once they realized what she was doing. Gracefully too, Leila even shared her own personal recipe with her! She made her own modifications to it and Momoko ate the whole thing up. She knew Momoko loved it so much! To the point where she fainted and since then, Mitama would always offer to recreate the same dish for her. Unfortunately she always seems to be busy each time she tries. How strange.
"My my~ What a rare thing to see you three here! Is there something you need?" Mitama asked the three once she snapped out of her quick journey to memory land. Leila was the first to speak to her "We came hoping to get an adjustment for the each of us. Don't worry, we didn't forget about the payment" Once Leila finished, Seika showed her the pile of grief seeds she had in her hand bag. Normally, it was an acceptance payment for her ,but...She had other plans instead.
"Why thank you~ but there's no need for that" Mitama spoke after looking over the grief seeds and Mito looked both surprised and confused. "You don't want to be paid?" Mito asked as Mitama's smile grew wider. Suddenly, Leila had a bad feeling on what's to come..."Of course I do~ I don't work for free " Mitama responded and looked over to Seika and Leila's intuition was correct. Leila immediately stood in front of her friend to protect her from whatever plans the other girl had. Being overprotective of Seika might be an understatement.
Mitama took notice and chuckled a bit "Fine, I wouldn't tease her today, but there is something I want you three to test" The three looked curious, but Leila didn't drop her guard. "T-test?" Seika finally spoke for the first time in their conversation and Mitama nodded. "Yup~ I just made something and need someone to try it out! That would be my payment in exchange for the adjustment"
After Mito, Seika, and Leila heard that, they looked at each other...Uncertain if they should accept the offer or not. Normally with someone else, they wouldn't have a problem with it, but this is Mitama they're dealing with..She can be rather...unpredictable..Once again they offered to pay in grief seeds in hope of convincing her...Unfortunately she wouldn't accept this and the three really needed this to be done. Reluctantly, the three accepted the offer.
Little did any of the three know...This was big mistake on their part...

"How much longer until Mitama is done with Seika?" Mito asked, swing her legs back and forward from where she was sitting. Next to her, was Leila as she hummed in acknowledgement. She was also curious too and hoped that Mitama didn't drag her tall friend into her shenanigans again. For now, she would have to trust Mitama to keep her word. "It shouldn't be too long." Leila responded as she looked towards the area they were at.
As soon as she said that, a familiar blue haired girl walked out with Mitama trailing behind her. Seika seemed to be a bit flustered, but otherwise she was fine. Leila could guess that Mitama couldn't help it and teased her a bit. She would let this slide for now as Seika sat beside the two. Seika took a quick glance at Leila before looking down at lap...Her face was slightly pink...Now she is curious on what the hell the other girl told her...
Before she could entertain the idea further, Mitama grabbed their attention. Mitama held their end of the bargain and now it's their turn to fulfill it. Mitama seemed rather excited about this and Leila started to become more curious on what she wanted. She told them to wait here and she was going to fetch it. Mito looked at the two, wondering if she wanted them to try a new food combination she came up with. Mito is usually a very open minded girl ,but from her past experiences with Mitama's cooking...She was rather hesitant on the matter.
Unfortunately, they were correct once Mitama showed up with dishes and what appeared to be food on it? Seika couldn't quite tell what it was ,but the scent it had was quite chocolaty? Maybe she wanted to try a dessert she learned? It doesn't look too too bad though...It seemed that Mitama gotten better on how to presents her foods...She really hoped.
Mitama started telling them about how this was a recipe she worked really hard at mastering and wanted them to try it. Since Leila was really good at cooking/baking, she wanted some feedback on how to improve. Seems innocent enough...Leila carefully inspect the chocolate in front of her and noticed there was something else in there. Almonds? Peanuts? Or orange peels even? She couldn't tell what it was by how it was cut...Her intention tells her that it's a bad idea to eat this and Leila agrees with it.
The three looked at each other and wondered if they should do this. 'Is this a good idea?' Seika spoke to the other two through telepathy. 'It's not ,but we need to pay her back for adjustments' Leila responded to her best friend as Mito chimed in 'Let's get it over with! At least we're doing this together!'
Mito was right about that. Leila took a deep breath as she lifted one of the chocolate and the others followed suit. After a bit of hesitation, she finally bit into it. At first she was greeted by the sweet taste of milk chocolate and then quickly came something else...She wasn't sure what it was ,but it gave a weird taste to it...Wait was that bean sprouts?? Did Mitama actually put that in?? Dear God, she hoped not and she wondered what else she put in there...It didn't take long for the heat of the peppers to kick in for Leila to somewhat realized what's going on..
Thankfully Leila has a decent spice tolerance, but that isn't said for the other two. She knew some people would combine the two and it works. She tried one of those chocolates herself and can confirm that....Unfortunately this may not be the case for Mitama's...Her eyes started to water a bit from the shear heat/pain she was feeling. Being a fire type, she is usually very resistant to a decent amount of heat, but this was ridiculous. She started coughing a bit as she turned around to see how her friends were handing this...
Turns out Leila was handling this much better than the others. Seika's face was a light pink color with her hands covering her mouth. Leila could even see the small tears, threatening to fall down from them...Mito tried her best to keep her composure as she cracked jokes at them in hopes of lightening up the atmosphere or at least distarct them from the pain they were feeling. Mito was coughing a lot more than the other two were and Leila could see the sweat dripping down from her face.
Then it's drawn to her...Leila has never eaten a pepper this spicy before and she recalled reading somewhere about one that was the spicest one in the world.....Mitama couldn't possibly have gotten her hands on some...right? Once the spice died down a bit, she decided to ask conductor "Did you put in some pepper?"
Pepper was an understatement...
She saw her eyes lightened up and her smile widened. "Yes~ I just put a whole jar of Carolina reapers~"
A WHOLE JAR OF WHAT NOW?!
"A whole jar?" Leila repeated a bit hesitantly and she knew damn well she wasn't the only one shocked by this information. She knew Mitama might have possibly added them in ,but not this much! Mitama just nodded to her as she takes a bite of the one she had for herself...She doesn't seem to be affected by it at all...How much spice tolerance does she have?
"One wasn't enough so I added in more and more until I can feel a bit of the heat~" Mitama answered back at her, still cheerful. Leila was horrified on what she learned. Her theory of Mitama having a really good spice tolerance was true..She began to wonder if Mitama would casually snack on them in her free time...She knew Mitama had a younger sister and hoped she didn't give this to her...
Leila coughed a bit as she removed those thoughts in her mind and looked toward Seika and Mito...They appeared to be in pain from the spices ,but it was better than before. She made a mental note to make something more enjoyable for the three of them...No Carolina reapers in this or ever. Leila did not want to go through this experience nor does the other two.
After she requested a pen and paper so she could give Mitama pointer on how to improve. She especially made sure to tell her not to use so many of those Carolina reaper... Leila did not want anymore people to experience what they did...Momoko was the usual person for this Leila heard once..If true, she felt so bad for her..If there any bright side to this, Momoko had a break from this. Plus Leila could say she tried the world's spicest pepper ,but was it really worth it? Was seeing Seika and Mito suffering worth it? No, it was not.
She promised to not let this happen again or to ignore her intentions...
Once she was finished writing everything, she gave it to Mitama to look over. She decided to give her one of her personal recipes so in hopes she would use this instead. She watched her facial expression changed as she read through it. "Do you mind showing me? The one you gave me last time was perfect~ I'm sure I could learn a lot from you" Mitama asked ,looking at Leila as she looked the three.
Seika was quiet , avoiding eye contact towards Mitama and Mito seemed a bit uncertain about this. She could tell they were tired and been here longer than anticipated. They finished their end of the deal so they have no obligation to do this...And yet, if they don't, Mitama would pull this off again...
Reluctantly, Leila agreed to this and scheduled at another time they can do this. Under one condition...They'll do this in her apartment. Mitama seemed to agree with this and was thankful once again.
