Chapter Text
Today was possibly one of the best days Becky had planned for herself. The villain attacks have become less (though not zero), and she was turning 15 today. Becky hummed, setting her old sparkletoe figure on her shelf.
The brown-haired girl walked down the stairs to the dining area, in which she was greeted with banners and cupcakes. Her mom had bounced from behind the wall, and her dad popped out with a party hat. "Happy birthday Becky!!! I can't believe you're already 15!" Her mom said, kissing her cheek. Becky only laughed and patted captain huggyfaces head. TJ was struggling to carry the gifts, so she quickly went over to help.
"Well kiddo, you still have school today" her father nodded, handing her a pink cupcake. "But at 6 we have your birthday party!"
"Great! I wouldn't miss it for the world" Becky placed the gifts on the dining table, letting TJ wipe at his arms from the slight marks the gifts gave him. "TJ, this is why you shouldnt be hesitant to ask! If it fell, that could've been a real catastrophe"
"Catastrophe?" TJ asked, tilting his head. While he wanted to help, he still wasn't the best with many word definitions.
Becky coughed and smiled in true wordgirl fashion, putting her hands on her hips. "Catastrophe means an event that causes great damage or disaster,like just about now! If all the gifts had fallen, you would've hurt yourself and some of them would've broken". TJ nodded in new understanding, smiling cheekily. "Thanks Becky, hey you wanna see the gift i-"
Just as he was about to go on and on about wordgirl, she could hear a catastrophe about to occur with her super hearing. It was..a ship? Was this another situation like with ms power?
"Oh, hAH, well I have to head off to school!" Becky announced, hastily grabbing her backpack and captain huggyface, who was about to eat another cupcake. He was frustrated until he realized the weight of the situation.
There was a new lifeform in the planet.

"Uhh...well that's a nono" A blonde-haired boy, emerged from the rocket he was in. He swept his hair slightly back and checked the ship to see how damaged it was. He let out a hum of approval when he found it wasnt too terrible. "Well, it's all the way from the Philippines to Fair city so..it wasnt a bad distance.. even though I was supposed to go up" he mumbled, checking his wristband that had the statistics of his failure.
"I shouldve stuck to flying" he smiled a little at himself, rubbing the nape of his neck awkwardly. A little crow found her way out of the rubble, cawing at him in anger until they both noticed something.
His eyes widened in disbelief as he heard zooming come closer and closer,the leaves being disrupted and..a monkey?
Just as wordgirl flew in, almost attacking him. Usually, she never missed with her punches, especially in these kinds of situations. So it was an understatement to say she was suprised when he quickly grabbed her wrist and pinned her down.
Wordgirl quickly snapped her wrist away and flew to the side. "What are you doing here? A new villain?" She huffed,still on guard from the attack. "Well you're going to have a piece of-!...me?" Just as she was about to attack him again, she noticed the lexiconian badge that he was wearing. He had shaggy blonde hair, and he was just werig a simple black and yellow jacket.
"Wordgirl!" He grinned, stepping forward with him rubbing at his nape awkwardly. "Ah, so you're the other lexconian huh! My names Leo, Leo Garcia".
