"Ugh..."
Wen Yifan whimper in pain after vomiting all her food last night. A hand caress her back soothingly and she lean to the touch. "Do you want porridge?" Sang Yan asked with a gentle tone.
Wen Yifan nodded and she walked to the sink to brush her teeth while Sang Yan prepare the porridge. She go to the living room and turn on the TV.
"You okay now?"
Sang Yan asked, patted her head like he always do. Wen Yifan shook her head with a tired eyes. "Do you want to swallow painkiller then?" He asked again. The women stare at him.
"No" She said with a glared. Sang Yan just handed her the bowl of porridge and feed her with it.
Wen Yifan gladly open her mouth and gulp the porridge down her throat. After the bowl was clean, Sang Yan wash the dishes while Wen Yifan sit at the couch, watching the television with a bored look.
Sang Yan then come towards her and kiss her lips. "I will go to work now" He said and they both go to the doorstep. He wear the coat and Wen Yifan stare at him.
"Call me if anything happens. Don't go out without telling me. If you're hungry, heat up the porridge pot" He nagged but she just nodded unfocused.
Sang Yan brush her head like he always do and bring her back from her daze. "Be careful on your way. Don't smoke too much" Wen Yifan smile plainly at him. Sang Yan stare at her and brush her hair behind her ears.
"Go to the clinic if it is too much"
Wen Yifan shook her head. "I'm fine. Go to work now, you will be late" She push him away and Sang Yan just sighed before walked out of the house.

Wen Yifan lied down at the bed after she showered and start to thought about something. She froze and sit up quickly, running to the drawer. She searched for the thing and grab it.
Pregnancy test that her mother-in-law gives, just in case. She goes to the bathroom and followed the instructions given.
After a few minutes, Wen Yifan look at the pregnancy test and look at the box on how to read it. Her mouth gaped open in shocked.
"Huh?"
She let out. Gripping the pregnancy test, she quickly run out from the bathroom and changed her clothes. Taking her purse, she walked out of the house and sent Sang Yan a quick message.
[Wen Yifan:Need to go out]
[Sang Yan:Where?]
[Wen Yifan:My office.]
[Wen Yifan:I need to bring an important fail]
Of course that is a lie. No way she would tell him. After arriving at the hospital, she paid the taxi driver and walked inside. She waited for her given number to be called and look at her phone.
"1076! Room 2"
Wen Yifan walked to room 2 and open it, revealing a female doctor who just smiled at her. She took a seat in front of the doctor.
"May I know your symptoms, Mrs?" The doctor asked with a gentle tone. "Lately I always feel nausea, fatigue and my period is late" Wen Yifan said and the doctor nodded knowingly while write the report.
"I see.. Then, have you done sex with someone before the symptoms happened?"
Wen Yifan nodded and the doctor stand up, walked to the hospital bed. "Please lied down here. I need to scan something for confirmation"
She, without any hesitation, lied down at the bed.

"Congratulations, you're 1 months old pregnant!" The doctor smile and handed Wen Yifan the ultrasound and a few paper about her condition.
"Please come in 2 months again to scan the baby and makes sure take care of your health. Don't be too stress. Women first pregnancy is a little hard but it is normal. But if your condition becomes worse, please go to the doctor. If necessary, look up in the Internet about the pregnancy process"
Wen Yifan nodded and walked out of the room. She takes a deep breath and stare at the baby ultrasound. No words can describe what she feels right now.

Wen Yifan lazily lied at the bed and closed her eyes. The ultrasound was in her hands and she doesn't know what to do. Before she knows it, it is already evening and she flinched when she heard the bedroom door opened.
Revealing Sang Yan with his blank face. Wen Yifan quickly hide the ultrasound under her pillow in panic.
She is not ready to tell him yet!
Sang Yan furrow his eyebrows weirdly and walked towards her. "What are you hiding?" He scanned her expression. "...." Wen Yifan stayed silent and ignore his stare.
"Wen Shuangjiang, say" Sang Yan sternly glared and Wen Yifan who is normal to his cold behaviour still don't said anything. Sang Yan stay silent, lean towards her and grab both of her hands with one hand, while his other hand grab the thing under the pillow.
"Sang Yan!! Don't!!!" Wen Yifan shouted and tried to free her hands. Sang Yan ignore her and look at the ultrasound. He doesn't makes any move for a while until he suddenly asked.
"What is this?"
Sang Yan know what is the thing because her parents once showed him the ultrasound when his mother are pregnant with Sang Zhi but he still asked her. Wen Yifan stayed silent.
"Tch, Wen Shuangjiang. I asked you" Sang Yan tched and grab the women cheeks, making her look at him in the eyes. "It clearly I am pregnant with our child" Wen Yifan answered.
Sang Yan let go of her cheeks and let out a sighed. "Then what are you worried about?" He asked again and touch her face worriedly.
Wen Yifan stayed silent and grip her clothes. "I...." She trailed off and look at Sang Yan. His face soften and he wipe the tears that was falling down from her eyes. "I don't know if I can be a great mother... What if... I become like that women..?" Wen Yifan sobbed and clutch his clothes.
Sang Yan caress her head gently. "You will not become like her. You will be a great mother" "How do you know that?" He just smile slightly at her question.
"Because I choose you. I know the best"
Sang Yan bump their forehead together softly. Wen Yifan teary eyes look at his eyes. "... Thank you..." She muttered and hug him tightly. Sang Yan just patted her back soothingly.

After Wen Yifan stopped crying, Sang Yan give smooch all over her face. Wen Yifan just let him while caressing her stomach.
"Ayan..."
"Hm?"
Sang Yan stop doing what he was doing and look at her. Wen Yifan smile widely. "We're gonna be a parents!" She exclaimed happily. Sang Yan slightly chuckle and also caress her stomach.
"Yes... Our baby.."

"So you lied to me about going to the office?"
Wen Yifan shut her mouth and look away. ".... I just need to confirm it..." She muttered. Sang Yan sighed and kiss her hand. "I forgive you this time"
