Work Text:

* Kouichi p.o.v *

With the Nabari world finally out of the chaos, Miharu cause. I thought I would let myself have an everyday life. Just be a typical high school student with a regular girlfriend who just happens to live with me. Well, there is nothing good about being normal, just like there's nothing good about Reimei's countless goodbyes.

It's always like this. She breaks up with me every three months over something crazy or just some dumb reason. However, today is different; I'm finally cutting the cord between her and me today.

My morning started by rolling up my sleeves, unplugging my phone from the wall, then started packing up all of her belongings that she left behind until my cell went off. "Sorry for calling, Kouichi, but I think I left my Mother's butterfly brooch there."

Every time we finally say it's over. She always calls me up with some excuse like that, giving herself a chance to come crawling back to me... And stupid me will always take her back. And three months later, we're back at the beginning of this never-ending story, with one more teary eye goodbye between us. But this time, I swear her tears were real, not like all the other fakes ones she always uses to get her way.

I said her heart wasn't entirely in this. She said I didn't fully love her. So here we go, lock in this two side story of this he-said-she-said fight.

"Fine, just fine, Kouichi. I won't come back. Not now. Not ever!"

'Yeah, we'll see about that.' I thought as she walked out on me once more.

*Yukimi p.o.v *

Another day off among the Grey Wolves as the boss gave us a week's paid vacation at some hot spring.

~There's nothing good about goodbye~ That ringtone coming from Raikou's phone only meant one person was calling. However, watching his face turn paler than Yoite's before he tried drowning the short fuse kid. "Wait. Raikou-san." I could move to help him. I really could, but it was comfier sitting back drinking Lemon cider with Yoite.

"I'm going to kill you!"

"Wait. Wait! Raikou-san, I don't even know what you're talking about. What is Reimei supposed to blow on me." I could only shake my head at how clueless this kid is.

*Reimei p.o.v. *

Oh god... I can't believe I did it again! Why did I end up calling my brother, and why did I have to say, 'I'm going to blow his best friend.' I'm such an idiot.

Maybe Kouichi was right. Perhaps I am utterly hopeless without him. So here we go once more as I crawl back to the most complicated guy I know, yet I can't live without him. I should start listening to Miharu from now on.

"Don't laugh, you two! It's not funny." Explaining to my best friend and my boyfriend. "I can't believe I told my brother that."

"No, what I can't believe is why thought Kouichi would flip out over that." Miharu, the Nabari king, boyfriend of the demon cat lady, Shijima. "I wouldn't let you 'blow me' in the first place."

"Why did you have to tell Shijima that." Kouichi burst out laughing. "I wonder if Gau is still alive after that phone call. So Reimei, I didn't know he was your type, to begin with."

Man, I really wish I didn't make that call...
