Third POV
It has been 10 years since the rebuilding of the casita, and Camilo is seemingly the only Madrigal without a lover or is courting someone. Even Antonio his younger is in a relationship with a girl named Sofia, she has a light hair color, her hair was usually styled into a straight short bob. A lot has happened Isabella is married to the baker Carina they have an olive skin tone and short hair with defined curls. Mirabel is recently engaged to a guy named Daniel, he is a shorter guy (we love short kings in this household). He is dark-skinned with hazel eyes, his hair was styled into small sections of twists. Meanwhile, Luisa is trying to woo the carpenter's daughter, Maria, and succeeding. Dolores has already gotten married to Mariano, yes after about the 100th time he had mentioned it. and she has a little girl named Amilia.
It seemed that everyone was had luck in romance except for Camilo. It wasn't because no one wanted to be with Camilo, he just wasn't interested. No matter what he never really felt attracted towards the ones flirting with him. It was to a point where he was starting to wonder if there was something wrong with him. He has previously dated plenty of people but it never really lasted longer than a month. He didn't mind being single, well that was until Abuela decided that there needed a change. She has been trying to set the poor boy up multiple times. So Camilo did the one thing the thought was a good idea at the time, lie during dinner. it went pretty much like the following:
"So Camilo what do you think of Donna? They are so sweet always helping." Abuela said. "Yeah, they are," Camilo answered absent-minded more focused on figuring out how to get more food on his plate.
"Why don't you date them?"
"Huh? No thank you."
"How about Oscar--"
"I have a girlfriend already," Camilo said before he realized it. Pepa, his mother had gotten a rainbow above her head hearing this.
"What's her name?" Pepa asks delightedly.
"What do her parents do?" Abuela asks
"What does she do?" Felix, his father asks
"Is she real?" Antonio asks.
"Of course she is real! She likes things to be private, she is very busy. You can ask her when you met her." Camilo asks nervously while chowing down his food.
"Do we know her?" Mirabel asks.
"No, she is not from Encanto." Camilo says.
Pepa's rainbow is quickly replaced by a small cloud sensing her son's lie.
"No outsider enters Encanto. I taught you better than to lie to your mama." The Adults look a bit disappointed.
"He isn't lying" Dolores lies through her teeth "I heard her. She sounds pretty." Now it's Camilo's turn to be confused.
"Really!" Pepa says excitedly as the clouds disappear.
Since that dinner, the family has been non-stop asking about Camilo's significant other.
Camilo was struggling since no outsider has ever been in Encanto before well you entered.
