Special containment procedures:
A simple cell for observation to move around in, toys provided for entertainment and a child's bed fit in size. SCP-8457 does not require sleep, but obeys the set times for naps and sleeping at night, where it will lie down in a resting position and lie still until it is time to be allowed back up.
Prof. Catcher has continuously requested that SCP-8457 is provided companionship for proper socialization, as it understands the passing of time and can get bored.
If breach in containment it can simply be ordered back to its cell with the message it has been grounded. Use a more stern tone if it gets stubborn and refuses to obey right away. Can also be bribed with promise of a tea party or more dresses to change between.
Description:
A clay statue in life-size form of a young girl around the age 6-7 years old, responds to the name Angel. The eyes are closed, its mouth in a smile, the poofy style hair short before the shoulders. Joints have been carefully made to ensure free movement, though lacking details in feet with no separate toes while the hands and fingers are fully functionally. On the back are a pair of clay wings without functional joints. Purely decorative.
The statue is hollow, which is revealed when it opens its eyes and mouth, to show the dark space inside.
SCP-8457 is perfectly able to move around thanks to the built-in joints, with some additional flexibility such as able to move limbs and head all the way around beyond what a human being should be able to. The lack of eyes does not hinder its ability to observe its surroundings and describe colours.
Despite lack of vocal chords, SCP-8457 is capable of speech, and its manner of talking fits a human child of its visual age, as well as displaying same level of intelligence. Very curious, always asking questions on any subjects, or demanding to be played with. It is very fond of playing dress-up and having tea parties.
If provided food of any sort, real or fake, it will imitate the display of eating observed in others, while having no means to chew or digest, and usually just stick the item into its mouth to fall into its hollow shell. Can later be returned upon asking, or ordering, the clay girl to do so. Its holding limit depends on the item being small enough to fit through the opening that is its mouth.
Was created by Prof. Catcher as an experimentation in creating an alchemistical homoculous back in [Redacted] - Prof. Catcher claiming an actual result was never expected. It immediately attached to its creator, considering him a father figure and often asks for his whereabouts.
SCP-8457 possesses same physical limitations as a child of same age, when it comes to physical strength. But has endless stamina and only rests as a show of imitation of humans, and although made of clay, so far proven indestructible towards any elements.
Addendum:
Prof Catcher has requested to be made SCP-8457's caretaker and watcher, for further study of its nature. When questioned, he openly admits it is also due to sentimentality to ensure it has proper socialization and company, as its creator.
