Bucky waited for Sam to be packing his bag, his back to the door, before leaning against the frame.
“So, Samuel,” he started, making the man jump. “What are your intentions towards Natasha?”
Slowly, Steve’s friend turned around to look at him.
“You really want to do this, Barnes?”
Bucky only raised an eyebrow.
“Fine,” Sam rolled his eyes. “I like her, and I think she likes me. She’s perfectly capable of taking care of herself, though, she doesn’t need you to do your whole ‘big brother routine’.”
Exactly what he wanted to hear. Nat would take no shit. “Good”
