Chapter Text
TommyInnit isn’t special. He isn’t a manic poet like Wilbur. He isn’t a brave president like Tubbo. He isn’t a strong warrior like Technoblade. He isn’t nice like Dream.
Dream isn’t nice. Dream isn’t his friend. Dream wants to hurt him.
He isn't special. He’s loud and harsh and talks too much. He can’t do anything right and he can’t get his head on straight.
TommyInnit is standing on a dirt tower that is twenty-four blocks tall. He had never been good at counting but he counted very carefully this time. This time the tower isn’t on an island, it’s in the arctic tundra. A couple hundred blocks away from Techno’s house actually.
Tommy can’t go to him for help this time.
His bare feet curl around the edges of the block as he stares over the edge. His hair tickled his ears as the afternoon breeze blew through his golden curls. During exile Tommy’s hair had grown longer than he usually kept it, making it come dangerously close to becoming a mullet. His hair length wouldn’t matter soon.
Tommy straightens his back, clenches his fists, and closes his eyes. He doesn’t want to see the ground rising up to meet him. Flashes of a control room, a duel, and a prison cell make their way into his mind as he teeters dangerously close to the edge. L’manburg is as good as gone. Techno and Phil hate him. His own family turned against him. They were grieving.
So was he.
He has nowhere to go now. There isn’t anyone in the entire server who wants him back.
Tommy just really wants them to be happy. Dream was right, he’s the problem on the server. Tommy couldn’t leave well enough alone and his disks- those stupid fucking disks ruined everything. They were a symbol of power. They represented the power Dream had over him and as long as he had his disks he was free.
His disks sit at the bottom of an ender chest containing a burnt coat,
He takes a step towards the edge and opens his arms out wide. The wind picks up now, blowing through his clothes and pushing him away from the edge almost gently. Tommy tries to smile as he pushes against the wind. A tear slips down his face as he steps off the tower. Tommy wonders if he’ll see Wilbur when he dies.
He lets his limbs fall limp as he falls, enjoying the rush of flying through the air one last time. It reminds him of when Phil would take him flying as a kid.
“ Tommy. ”
-
TommyInnit is a perfectly respectable big man who uses humongous words and doesn’t eavesdrop. It’s simply not his fault that whoever is yelling right now is being so loud. His mind is fuzzy, almost cloudy. There’s something not quite right with his read at the moment but Tommy can’t put his fucking finger on it.
“What the hell was he doing there XD?!” A strained shout comes from Tommy’s left. He remains with his eyes closed, intent on listening to as much as possible.
XD? That’s a rather unfortunate name. Wait. Tommy had to brush up on his knowledge of the Twitch TOS scriptures but he was fairly certain that was the name of a god. DreamXD. Dream’s namesake.
The thought of Dream makes Tommy want to throw up.
“ He wasn’t supposed to be there .” A second voice answered. The voice (probably XD if Tommy is right) was low, ethereal almost. Fuzzy brain Tommy was in a fancy words mood now.
“Yeah I got that already when I found him standing on a fuckin’ suicide pillar.” The first voice is angrier now, louder but the source of it sounds like the person is walking back and forth. A part of the brain fog starts to clear in Tommy’s mind. Suicide pillar? Tommy would never do something like that surely?
Well there was that one time in the nether, and that other time on the island, and when Techno told him to die like a hero he almost dared him to follow through with it but Tommy was a big man. Big men don’t try to jump off towers. It was probably like a diamond tower or some cool shit.
“This isn’t a fixed point, he’s derailing things completely. Tubbo’s launching nukes on the prison years before that’s supposed to happen, Technoblade is coming out of retirement, and Wilbur is being killed again.” A whooshing noise accompanied by muffled screams sound out digitally, almost as if from a communicator but communicators can’t play sounds? “This is a disaster, how did you let something like this happen?”
“ You’re the one supposed to keep him on track .” The voice sounds almost tired, annoyed, like he’s dealing with a four year old throwing a tantrum. “ What were you doing down there ?”
“You’re the one mingling with a human. I was doing a job, who cares if I might have had some fun while doing it. I kept the fixed points in place, for all we know you could have caused this!” Tommy’s tired of listening to these two blame each other and he starts opening his eyes when XD starts talking again.
“ George was barely involved in human affairs. Dream and MD were the ones who muddied the waters. Anything Dream touches turns into a mess .” At that, Tommy opens his eyes. Anything involving that green bastard involves him whether he likes it or not. Plus it seems they’re talking about him. While Tommy is indeed a very handsome gentleman who is widely adored by copious amounts of women, he wants to know who’s talking about him like he’s not even there.
“Oh shit he’s awake.” Drista’s paper mask meets his eyes and he freezes. He’s standing on what looks like a gigantic cloud surrounded by various sizes of clocks and gears.
It’s official.
TommyInnit, lover of women, big man, danger Kraken Innit, is dead.
