Work Text:
Brady walked into the house to the smell of brownies baking in the oven. His favorite. "What seems to be going on in here?"
Felix looked up from where he was watching TV. "Damon is making brownies. He said it seemed like you were having a bad day and was going to need some comforting when you got home."
Brady flopped onto the couch, his head landing in Felix's lap. "How can he always tell? It's amazing. I never mentioned my day but he was just able to tell from the tone of my voice."
Felix started running his fingers through Brady's hair. "Damon is so good at that. It's one of the things I love about him. He always knows how to make us smile when we need it."
"Yeah, he does." Brady closed his eyes briefly, opening them a few seconds later when he heard footsteps.
"I thought I heard Brady's voice," Damon smiled as he walked in with a plateful of brownies. "Welcome home."
Brady sat up and took a brownie from the plate. "Amazing as always. And how do you do it? I didn't even mention my day when I called."
"Omega intuition, I guess," he shrugged as he snuggled up with his alpha boyfriends. "I've always been like this, even when I was a kid."
Felix took a brownie as well, pressing a kiss to Damon's forehead and taking a bite. "You have a talent babe. Your brownies are delectable."
"The important thing is that they make you happy," Damon smiled, finally taking one of the brownies for himself, "And they do, so I've done my job. I know brownies are a comfort food for you two."
Though little did he know that what made his alphas happy was less the brownies and more him, the time and effort he put in to make them smile He was the comfort. He was their comfort. They all were each other's comfort.
