Work Text:
Gojo Saturo had always seen her as an obstacle that he needed to beat in order to feel complete, a game he needed to win, a rival he needed to get rid of, but as he grew older, as his mind matured, he realised that she was a person. A very own person who was strong, kind, stubborn and beautiful.
He had never seen her like that, this foreign feeling taking over his body like a disease he couldn't quite get rid of, hell maybe he didn't want to get rid of it. He liked it, the feeling of warmth whenever he saw her, the sickly sweet feeling down his stomach and the constant race of his heart.
He loved how her hair looked as it moved in the summer breeze, how her hands moved whenever she fought, he couldn't get enough of her goddamn smile. It was enough to make him go crazy. He struggled to keep this feeling at bay, to keep his mind concentrated whenever he was out on missions, to keep his heart from beating so fast that it could burst.
But like all his struggles, he never told anyone about this one sided love of his. He kept it like a secret that wasn't supposed to be told, a curse that would never be talked about.
He told himself he would get over her, he had a short attention span, he would forget about her in a couple of days right?
He was wrong.
As days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months and as the months flew by gojo saturo had finally admitted that he, the strongest sorcerer in the world, had been given the chance to fall in love.
