The sound of the alarm wakes up Vi from her sleep, forcing her eyes to open against her will, she shuts the alarm off, glancing at the time she sees 5:00 am in her phone. Right, job interview day. she thinks as she gets up and stretches her body, hearing those satisfying cracks and pops in her bones that almost immediately relaxes her. BANG!! "FUCK OW! SHIT!" The sound of curses can be heard thru the wall from the room next to hers, That's so like Akali, for someone who's a self proclaimed ninja she gets startled too easily. Akali has been a long time friend of hers, best friend even, meeting her for the first time in high school, her and the Ionian exchange student hit it off almost instantly with their shared love for martial arts, and beautiful women, since then they have been inseparable, sparring mates, groupmates, wingmen, roommates, they did everything together, they became known as the school's unstoppable duo when it came to martial arts competitions, crushing the participants of other schools with ease. Now they both live in the apartments above 'The Last Drop', the bar that Vi's foster father owns, along with her sister Powder, Powder's childhood and best friend Ekko, and their mutual friend Zeri who they met at school.
Vi was known to be the best boxer at their time in both high school and college, like a well oiled machine that works so well it made her moves flow systematically, methodical, and calculated, hard and fast, but not losing its own form of elegance, Akali was known as the dragon, dominating the karate competitions year after year after year, as fearless and ferocious as a dragon's wrath, but with grace like how a dragon flies thru the skies. When both turned 21, they even both got back tattoos, gears and machines in black that span her back and arms for Vi, and a beautiful purple oriental dragon for Akali, that also spans her back and arms. Vi's sister and her best friend Ekko really did go above and beyond for their tattoos, and they proudly show it off whenever they can.
After finishing her preparations, mainly showering and getting dressed in her only professional looking clothes, black slacks, a white button up, and a black blazer to top it off, in any other occasion she would've rolled up the sleeves to show off her arms and tattoos but this interview was very important, better keep it looking corporate. She locks the door and walks just a bit to her right to Akali's room next door and knocks a few times. "Hey squirt open up! You better be ready! I don't wanna be late for this!" She hears a string of mumbled curses and shuffling thru the door, she can't help but chuckle a bit at this, Akali has always been a bit of a dork, scratch that, a huge dork. The door finally opens and Akali stands there pouting a bit. "I hate this stupid bunk bed Vi! I banged my head on the top bunk after the alarm went off!" Akali complains as she closes the door of her room and locks it too. Huffing out a little laugh, Vi answers, "Well, just get a new bed Kali, you would already have one if you just stopped buying all those dolls of yours." Which is true, Akali always had a hobby of buying action figures of her favorite fighting game characters, she and Vi have both been fans of the genre and were very competitive, they even won some local tourneys, but she will always tease the rouge for her hobby of collecting expensive figures. "TAKE THAT BACK!!! THEY ARE ACTION FIGURES! NOT DOLLS!" Akali screams as she throws herself at Vi that nearly sends them both to the ground, grappling each other into a mess of limbs and only stopped when Vander clears his throat and shoots them one of his unamused 'Get yourselves in order or else' glares, untangling themselves from the grappling they smile shyly at him, Vi rubbing the back of her neck, and Akali fidgeting with her fingers, their nervous habits.
"Girls you are going to be late to the interview and need i remind both of you that first impressions are always important?" He scolds them, they can't really blame him, they both knew they were acting like children, so after mumbling their apologies they both get down into the bar section of the building, out of the front doors to the streets. Akali inhales a deep breath, just like she always does, calls it some mantra of calming her spirit or some shit, Vi doesn't get it, but doesn't really comment about it, it's just one of those 'Kali things'. "Let's take a cab Vi, I don't really wanna pull up in front of the Kiramman's house in our old beat up truck." True, first impressions, Vi thinks and hums her agreement to Akali's idea. During the car ride, they both state ideas on how their probable future employers would react to them. "Do you think they'd ask if we have tatts? Cuz holy shit Vi, I don't wanna get not hired cuz of that." That is true, some of their past applications have been turned down because of it, the employers thought it wasn't 'pro looking'. "Nah don't worry too much Kali, we know that the Kiramman's aren't like that, they were Vander's best friends during college!" Vi reassures Akali, Vander and Tobias really did get along well, he even invested money in the bar, and his wife Cassandra, as cold as she may seem, was never the judgmental type, more like, calculating. "True but I'm nervous cuz they're not the one's interviewing us, its their head of security! Who knows if the guy is so damn stuck up?!" "Relax Kali, just stay calm and be yourself, you can always blow them away with your karate skills."
"Ah! Violet! Akali! Good to see you two again!" Tobias beams, he was always the cheerful one of the Kiramman couple. "Good morning Mr. Kiramman." Vi greets as she is pulled into a hug, Vi will not admit it but she likes Tobias' hugs. "Good morning too sir." Akali greets as well as she is also hugged. "Now now we've talked about this girls, just Tobias is fine alright?" He replies pulling back from the hugs in between chuckles. Cassandra just stands beside him with a little smile, barely noticeable but you know it's genuine. she reaches out her right hand to shake the girl's own. "Good morning girls, i hope your interview goes well, we would love to be working with you two, but still, do your best to impress our head of security, she can be a little... intense, but that's a good trait of her i assure you, she does things perfectly." Cassandra advises them. Her? She? The head of security for the Kirammans is a woman? Is all they could think about, making them both equally excited and nervous, they can always appreciate strong women, they just hope that she won't be too bitchy like Dylan, a character they hated with a passion in one of their favorite shows, which turns out, is also a bitch off camera.
After some catching up and well wishes for the interview, Cassandra leaves them with Tobias as she heads to her study to work, being the president of a law firm always makes Cassandra busy. Tobias leads them to a separate wing of the estate, it isn't as fancy as the main building, it still is lined with some gold and blue on the edges, just like the rest of the estate, but the wing is designed to be, efficient, anything you could need is easy to reach with no chance of getting lost in a maze of hallways. There is a huge floor to ceiling glass door in the right side of the hallway, giving a great view of the wing's indoor training place, the size of a basketball court, half of it is taken up by a large mat, no doubt used for training any form of close combat, the other half has gym equipment and lockers, and the entire left side of the training area is a mirror that spans from the floor and goes up to at least three meters high. Akali whistles after looking at it all. "Holy shit look at all those equipment..." She trails off, looking at the area like a kid about to go in a toy store, eyes wide and mouth agape. Vi hums in agreement, also wide eyed. A chuckle from Tobias snaps them out of their trance. "Girls trust me, you both will have a good chance of inspecting that area, after the interview the head of security will be bringing you there to test your skills, and don't worry i don't doubt both of your skills dears, both of your reputations will do well for you in this interview, just, no swearing alright?" He says the last part glancing at Akali with a shit eating grin. Akali's cheeks flush red in embarrassment, she always had a bit of a potty mouth, She mumbles her apologies and they continue their walk till they reach the room of the head of security, a metal plate in the middle of the door states the name of the one who will decide if they will be hired. Evelynn Smith - Head of Security Department.
It was safe to say that both their expectations, and their minds, were blown away after seeing Evelynn for the first time, first of all, she was gorgeous, both of them could easily claim that she used to be a supermodel, wearing a black pencil skirt that hugs her hips and accentuates her curves perfectly, a white button up that fits her torso snugly, the top three buttons of it left unbuttoned on purpose to reveal a generous amount of cleavage, a matching black blazer draped across her shoulders but her arms are not inside the sleeves, they are crossed just under her breasts that make them seem to be squished a bit upwards showing just how full they are, her platinum colored hair, perfectly combed and falls smoothly to her back, but despite the sexy appearance, the subtle muscles in her body were not to be missed, this woman was a perfect image of beauty, sophistication, and strength, someone who knows what they want, and can do anything to get it, someone who knows who they are and doesn't care what others think, truly a strong and independent woman. But what's most noticeable, are her eyes, amber gold in color, that seems to be able to pierce thru your soul and she will be able to know all your dark secrets. And if that is the case, i wouldn't be surprised. Vi thought to herself.
Now Vi and Akali have always been into women, long enough for Vi to know that Evelynn is exactly the type that Akali is into, Kali will die before admitting it, but she is a sucker for women who can dominate her. Vi glances to Akali at her left and the image of her friend almost made her laugh out loud, but she suppressed it maintaining her best professional look, Akali on the other hand... well Akali was going thru her worst gay panic in her entire life, she was sweating, hard... you can literally see the beads of her sweat form and roll down her skin, the back of her neck is soaked, and she is flushed, blushing from her cheeks all the way down to her collarbones, but she can't help but keep staring at the woman in front of them, mind going miles an hour with thoughts that ranges from panic, to shameless imagination of all the things she would let Evelynn do to her. She is trying so hard not to show her gay panic... and failing miserably, Evelynn notices this and glances at Akali, staring straight into her eyes with her amber colored ones, narrowing her eyes, the left side of her full magenta colored lips curling up to form a little smirk, that looks like a predator that just found her prey.
Holy shit she's so hot, Akali thought, "Holy shit she's so hot." Akali said. Vi's eyes widened in surprise, and her jaw goes slack and falls down. Oh no. no no no no no... this woman is gonna think we're weird now, goddamnit Akali why couldn't you just keep it in your pants! you fucking bottom! Vi is now panicking, thinking of any excuse to say to apologize. Akali takes a few seconds to realize what just happened. "Oh Fuck did i just say that out loud?" She mumbles trying not to make Evelynn hear it, but the room isn't exactly filled with noise so her efforts resulted in nothing. In their panic, the next thing that happened surprised both of them, expecting to be sent out, the next thing Evelynn does shocks them. Evelynn's smile just grew wider showing her perfectly white teeth and sharp canines, and Akali's thought spiraled again to sinful and shameless things. "My my darling~ thank you for the compliment, I do find you attractive as well, and I've always liked people who are vocal with their thoughts, I like to see them voice out their opinions, and-" She pauses, looks Akali up and down, slips a little bit of her tongue out and wets her bottom lip in a manner that can only be considered downright sinful before finishing her statement. "-how they feel in... certain situations." She finishes in a wink to Akali, and holy shit does Akali's mind short circuit. No fucking way, did that just happen? Evelynn just flirted with Akali! I am so teasing her after this." Vi can't help it now but give Akali her best shit eating grin to date, which does nothing but further embarrass her friend. "i- uh - um... uuhh... sorry.. holy shit... its just that... fuck..." Great now Akali is just a stuttering mess, but still a part of her is happy that Evelynn just flirted with her.
"Now girls, I am not going to be taking up much of your time, I already know of both of your history in high school and on college, it would be my genuine honor to have both the 'Hound' and the 'Dragon' in my security detail, and the fact that you have also both been recommended by the previous head of security Amanda Grayson, I can already conclude that you are both good people, Grayson has always been a great judge of character and i don't doubt her, now do tell me dears, how do you both know Grayson?" That statement alone both made Vi and Akali be filled with confidence, and lessens Akali's stuttering, so she answers. "Oh, um thank you miss Smith, ummmm, After I moved here to Piltover-Zaun from Ionia, me and Vi met in class and became friends ever since." She answers and gives a genuine smile full of pride not just for herself, but also for her pinkette friend. Vi smiles and continues the answer for them, "Yes ms Smith, we have been inseparable ever since, and for Grayson, well ma'am she is an Anderson now, she and my step father Vander were university sweethearts just like their best friends Cassandra and Tobias Kiramman, and they just got married last year, she is my step mom now." Vi smiles as well, Vander and Amanda marrying was one of her best memories in life, seeing the amount of happiness in Vander, a man who sacrificed a lot to get them to where they are now, will forever be ingrained in her memory.
After hearing the answers, Evelynn is more than satisfied with what she hears, these two are genuine, honest to a fault, not the types to take advantage of being friends with wealthy people, and can be trusted, most of all their strong bonds with each other and family has her genuinely impressed and happy for them, a rare emotion she feels, but can't also help but be a bit jealous, as her family isn't really the best. She can't also ignore this strange pull to this certain woman whose hair is in a wild ponytail, she knows it may be a bit too fast, but, she can't help but feel comfortable around these two, the sense of familiarity, and ease, sets her in a really good mood, so she does what she does next, and surprises not only the two women in front of her, but also herself. "That is good to know ladies, give Amanda my regards as well for her marriage, consider both of yourselves hired, I can tell that both of you will be a perfect fit to not only our staff, but also to the Kiramman family, and judging from your history with them, there will be no problems with getting along, don't worry darlings, in this household you are not just staff, you will be considered family." She finishes with a smile, not filled with teasing, but filled with pride, and Akali and Vi can't help to smile back at her, they both knew they would love to get along with Evelynn. "Now before i send both of you off-" Evelynn starts, then stares at Akali and smirks. "-Akali dear won't you stay here for a bit, i'd like to... get to know you a bit more, and Vi dear, you can check the training area, I'll send Akali after you in a bit~"
Holy shit holy shit holy shit she's flirting with me oh my gods i'm so fucked... And just like that Akali is a mess again, she looks to Vi for help, but all she saw was another eat shitting grin, and just like in typical Akali fashion, what she thinks, she unconsciously says, "I'm so fucked..." she states as Vi nods at Evelynn, winks at Akali and leaves the room and locks it as well. Evelynn's smile just gets wider as she takes off her blazer and hangs in on her chair, steps around it and walks towards Akali in the sexiest way possible, from the slight bounce of her swell breasts, to the sinful sway of her hips, to the way her pupils dilate to almost drown out the golden color and just show desire, Akali unconsciously licks her bottom lip before Evelynn lays her hands on her shoulders and gently pushes her against the wall, and traps her there with her body. Akali now feeling Evelynn's body right on her own, she can't help the moan that escapes her throat, and can't help to feel the wetness in her now most likely ruined underwear. "Now, darling, what do you say I send your compliment back at you and show you just how "hot" i think you are~" With Evelynn's silky smooth voice and hot breathe teasing her ears, the only response Akali can formulate is just another stutter fest. "I- uh- oh my g-god... I'm" She doesn't get to finish her incoherent thoughts as she is cut off by Evelynn by crashing her lips to hers and Akali cant help another moan into Evelynn's mouth.
Vi can't believe it, she and Akali got hired, her best friend and herself would be working together, she also can't believe that Akali is most likely getting her brains fucked out right now. "Holy shit." She says to no one but herself as she strolls around the training area looking thru some awards and trophies on display with some photos of Cassandra, Tobias and a teenage girl with the same navy blue hair like Tobias, holding a rifle smiling widely showing the gap in her teeth that Vi found to be the cutest thing, the picture next to a trophy, with a metal plate in its stand for the label. 'Caitlyn Kiramman: Piltover's U-18 Shooting Competition Grand Champion'. Vi smiles, she hasn't seen how this girl, now woman, Caitlyn looks like now, she hasn't even met her, all she knows is that she is studying in Demacia if her memory serves her correctly from the little bits of conversation she heard when Tobias was drinking with Vander in the bar, but she hopes to be able to meet her soon. Half an hour later Akali finally rejoins her, and she looks... wrecked, disheveled hair that is in a messy ponytail, her blazer is now crinkled so badly, barely erased lipstick marks on her cheeks and lips, Vi can't help but give her another shit eating grin and laugh at her. "Vi I am not having it..." Akali mumbles but she can't contain the grin on her face, Vi wants to tease her so much but she relents for now, as she is happy for her friend who looks like the happiest person in the world right now so she settles for- "Did ya get her number tho?" Akali smiles wider and shows her her phone with a phone number under the name 'Eve <3 xoxo' "I'm proud of you Kali, so did you just make out or..." She trails off letting Akali finish it for her. "That was the best sex I've had in my life Vi, I'm not capping." And vi cant help but cackle with her friend as she slings her arm around Akali's shoulder as they exit the training area.
Saying goodbye to the Kirammans, they take another cab back to The Last Drop to announce the good news and celebrate with family and friends. "Oh right Vi, after Eve and I uhhh-" She trails off and blushes again, Vi grins at her but prompts her to continue. "-yeah... she asked for our address, and i told her about the bar, she said she's going to be coming over later after her work hours, to catch up with Amanda." Vi's grin evolves to her signature shit eating one. "Just, to catch up with Amanda?" She says wiggling her brows suggestively. Akali blushes all the way down to her collarbones again but answers anyway. "N-no... she says... she wants to get to know m-me... m-more too..." And she smiles like an idiot in love already. Vi just smiles at her genuinely and tells her. "Don't worry bout it Kali, I'm sure everyone is gonna like her." and pats her head and ruffle her hair a bit. Akali just nods and smiles back at her.
Did Vi tell Akali about all the marks on her neck? Definitely not, she may have refrained from teasing her verbally, but she just had to do it another way. Did Evelynn come over and catch up with Grayson? Yes. Did Vander and the rest of their makeshift family like Evelynn? No, they loved her. Did Akali and Evelynn make out in one of the more concealed booths and Akali ended up with more marks? Definitely. Did Akali get teased to death after Evelynn left? Let's just say she wanted to get swallowed up in her bean bag and go to heaven, and dreamed of golden eyes in her sleep. And Vi? is happy for herself and Akali, they got a great job with a family they get along well with, Akali even got herself a girlfriend(?) already, things are looking up for all of them and they are going to enjoy this ride. Did she dream about navy blue hair and sky blue eyes and an adorable tooth gap in her sleep? She would rather die than admit it.
