"Kimi, get out of here, if you go on like this you'll catch it and that-" Seb doesn't get any further because he is interrupted by a fit of coughing. Kimi skillfully ignores his husband's protest, sits down next to him and gently strokes his back. "I brought you some cough syrup upstairs and also some warm milk with honey, it will help with your cough and the sore throat." The German looks up at the other man, pained. He has already been feeling a little limp for two days, and all the more disappointed but also angry now that he is even worse and has also tested positive. He lies snuggled up in their bed in the main bedroom and Kimi has moved into the guest room so Seb doesn't have to move around too much. "Honey, for once let me take care of you! You are sick and need care." - "Yeah but there's no point in all that if you're sick afterwards and I have to look after you." Annoyed, Seb looks at Kimi, who is standing there with his mask and gloves on, but otherwise not really following the spacing rules. "It's alright.", grumbling, Kimi turns and leaves the room again. Outside the door he takes off his gloves, then his mask and disinfects his hands. While he knows it's not necessarily the best idea to get so close to Seb if he's contagious, he can't leave his husband lying sick in the bedroom either and not take care of him.
Back in the kitchen, he then immediately gets on with chopping the vegetables he has bought for a vegetable soup. Seb would say that chicken broth is much better when you're sick, but Kimi knows that Seb prefers simple vegetable soup, so he does all the work. No sooner does he have the knife in his hand than his mobile phone rings. When he sees who is calling him, he grins and picks it up, whereupon he is immediately greeted by a whining Seb. "Kimiii, I miss you." Pouting, the German looks into the camera. "Oh, the main thing is that you kick me out, but you can't stand five minutes without me." - "Pf, that's something completely different and now entertain me."
So the two of them talk on the phone as long as Kimi is preparing the soup, but even after that they don't stop and talk on the phone until late into the night. When Seb, who is completely taken care of by Kimi the whole day and evening, finally falls asleep, Kimi hangs up and goes to bed himself. He loves the German more than anything, but especially when he is ill, he is particularly exhausting.
