Work Text:
Roses had always been a deep thing to Fulgur. Often reminding him of the small and sassy psychic he once knew, the smell of roses and coffee always seemed to be around him now, circling him as if he was still there. When he closes his eyes he sees the male, purple hair fading into a pink at the end, those two eyes that seemed to be sleepy all the time even after a good night's rest, the plump and soft lips he wished he would have kissed everyday. The comfort and warmth the psychic had brought with him no longer there or around the cyborg. The soft and gentle voice that had always reassured him whenever Fulgur had remembered things he wished he would already forget, gone.
If you looked close enough in his pink eye, you could notice the tiniest of stars inside his eye. Maybe it was an effect of the star falling into his eye? Fulgur didn’t know. Uki’s eyes had always seemed gentle to everyone he had met, many having interest in his non matched eyes, one full of stars and one not full of stars. Fulgur swears he could look into those alluring eyes, always finding a new detail about them. Long eyelashes helped Uki to look even softer and an angelic voice making everything seem less worse than what it actually was, and Fulgur wishes he had spent more time looking into those eyes and had asked for more time to speak to the angel.
When small and petite arms surrounded him reminding the cyborg that he was safe and no longer where he used to be, Fulgur could swear he was in the clouds. Clouds that kept the two away from harm, clouds that could protect them both. Fulgur knew his thinking was just wishful thinking.
The psychic had always had a fixation with space, often pointing out the brightest stars, in which Uki would immediately rebuttal and say they were planets, and tell Fulgur which star was which planet. Fulgur always tried to learn from him, often taking notes in his head when Uki pointed one out, and softly spoke the name of the planet. Fulgur remembers when the galaxy boy had pulled him inside his room, the lights turned off and a singular cube that sat in the middle of the floor. The galaxy boy had pulled the two onto the floor, Fulgur making himself comfortable with the shorter one in his lap as Uki pressed a button on the silver cube and holographics of the solar system spinning appeared in the air. That’s when their lips met.
Fulgur only remembers how the shorter male had been watching the holographics, star eye shining as Saturn had passed them. The soft glow of the fairy lights the psychic had kept in jars on his streaming desk highlighting his soft and delicate cheekbones, his pretty and long eyelashes, and the even prettier and plush lips. Fulgur’s heart pumped, cheeks turning a light shade of pink as he imagined their lips meeting, tongues dancing and saliva falling between the two. Why was he thinking that?
Uki’s eyes had met his as his thoughts died down, the white and thick knitted sweater falling off his shoulder, his collarbones peeking out as he looked up at the cyborg from his lap. The holographic planets no longer of Uki's interest. Instead the two looked at each other, galaxy eyes staring into dead and cybernetic ones, the dead eyes falling onto the plush lips, noticing a tiny mouth mole right below the bottom lip, and that’s when their lips had met. Inside the barely lit room, surrounded by the solar system and the warmth of each other.
Uki was flipped over by strong arms, now facing each other perfectly as their lips moved, small hands gripping Fulgur’s shoulder, the material of the hoodie bunching up with the tight grip. The smell of roses from the comfy clothing and taste of coffee that sat on the galaxy boy’s tongue, hands moved and bodies melted together. The star-full eyes now much prettier as tears of pleasure fell from them and bitemarks were scattered on his body.
The milky way was always the cyborg’s favorite thing in space, the pretty and calming feeling he felt as he looked at pictures of it had always reminded him of the comfort Uki brought. But it was never enough for him, only Uki was able to calm him down with a simple sentence or a simple hug. Nothing was like Uki, his pretty galaxy boy even as tears fell out of Uki’s sleepy and beautiful eyes and red lips from the biting Fulgur had done, messy purple hair now resembling a halo. The perfect milky way halo. The smell of roses and smoke now mixed together.
So here Fulgur was now, sitting as he looked at the pink and purple hydrangea flowers that grew in the garden, a small book that he had just finished writing next to him. A book about the galaxy boy he once knew and his milky way halo.
