Shollkee had returned from a quick late night grocery trip to find MZD sitting on his couch, his tail twitching and face flushed. MZD perked up slightly the moment Shollkee entered the apartment, grinning drunkenly.
Shollkee stared at the drunk god lounging around on the couch in shock. "...Ice?? Did you know MZD was here?"
"Yeah, he came looking for you… when I told him you weren't here he seemed so upset I just let him stay… Sorry!"
"It's fine I'm just… shocked," Shollkee stared at the god, whose attention was focused completely on him. "Shollkeeeeee~ Heyyy~" MZD grinned, leaning towards him and almost falling off the couch completely. "I came here," MZD hiccupped. "...to see youu~! Because…" Another hiccup. "Because I loooove~ youuu~"
Shollkee sat next to MZD and listened to him ramble on and on about how in love he was.
Shollkee loved spending time with MZD. There seemed to be something special about the love of a god. Every word he spoke, the way he stared at him, every mischievous grin and wag of his tail, they were all full of a form of love and adoration that Shollkee felt he could never fully reciprocate no matter how hard he tried.
Shollkee realized he had zoned out a bit. He didn't mean to… It just happened. MZD didn't seem to care, and had pushed Shollkee over and cuddled him, still talking about how much he loved him. Shollkee felt a familiar sort of pressure wrap around him. MZD had wrapped his tail around him… Even when drunk he still had enough control to do this… Shollkee found it cute. He wasn't in a super cuddly mood, so he found it a bit uncomfortable, but he made an exception for this moment.
MZD's talking slowed down. He was getting tired. MZD struggled to keep his eyes open, staring lovingly at Shollkee. He yawned and dozed off, occasionally squeezing Shollkee with his tail as if he was making sure he was still there. Shollkee knew he wasn't going anywhere at this point, and fell asleep cuddling MZD.
