Gryffindor's golden child Kim Taehyung was good at almost everything...almost... except for potions and when Slytherin's head of house, Professor Snape decided to berate the young boy for accidentally setting his sleeves on fire (he was too busy giggling at the note sent by Jimin) and deducted points from their house, Jungkook was determined to make Taehyung smile again.
Taehyung had gone straight to the edge of the forest as soon as Potions class had ended to scream into the forest and let out his frustrations. He had ventured just a bit into the lush forest when he heard the snapping of a twig and crunching of dry leaves behind him and was greeted with the sight of the Slytherin boy with the bunny smile from his year who had apparently decided to followed him into the woods.
Jungkook couldn't bear to see the pain and hurt in Taehyung's coffee coloured eyes so he had made up his mind to bring back Taehyung's boxy smile and the sparkle in his eyes.
But what could poor Jungkook do ??
After wracking his brains and not coming to any solution, Jungkook finally had his eureka moment !
He slowly dropped his bag and wand on the ground to show Taehyung that he didn't mean any harm.
Taehyung too was confused about the Slytherin's intentions.
He only knew the boy was named Jungkook, was friends with Hobi hyung, that he was good at quidditch and potions and had a bunny smile and doe eyes that sparkled. He looked pretty harmless but having a Slytherin tail you wasn't anything good, especially when you are a Gryffindor. The houses did not have a great relationship and that often led to hostile confrontations at Hogwarts.
So Taehyung was beyond shocked when Jungkook quietly sauntered towards him, cupped his face in his hands and kissed him right over the mole on his cheek followed by kisses on his forehead and hair.
For a second, Taehyung was paralyzed because he wasn't sure if he was making it up or if it was real but when Jungkook had pulled away to look at his face, he missed Jungkook's warmth and spontaneously decided to kiss the cute boy back. He left a small peck right on the scar on Jungkook's cheek that caught the doe eyed boy off guard. Taehyung then grabbed his fallen bag and made a run for the Gryffindor common room, being too embarrassed to face the consequences of his action.
Jungkook was too stunned to react to the sudden kiss but as he watched taehyung dash through the lawn towards the courtyard, a small smile made its way onto his face and his heart suddenly felt warm and fuzzy. Maybe it was the beginning of something new and beautiful or maybe not, but Jungkook was ready to stick around and find out where their story went.
