He didn’t always use age regression to cope, he didn't need it, he didn't need regression to cope because he didn't have a reason to be sad.

Tubbo’s parents and siblings were close and perfect, he had the perfect life with perfect siblings, perfect parents, and perfect grades. All of that was thrown out the window the night of the accident.
Tubbo’s family had gone out to dinner with some family friends, Tubbo had stayed back due to his small cold, his parents didn't want to risk making him even more sick or getting other people sick.
It was getting late and he had fallen asleep while watching tv. A loud knock on his front door had awoken him from his peaceful slumber. He woke up a bit disoriented and with no trace of his family coming home the night before.
He opened his door and was greeted with strong, secure arms around him that belonged to his Aunt Marie. She started to sob into the soft fabric of his long-sleeved pajama shirt.
After what seemed like an eternity, Marie finally spoke up, voice hoarse and scratchy from all the crying she had done prior to her arrival. “We need to talk sweetie” were the last words she said before explaining to him how his entire family was now dead because of a freak car accident that occured.
The words she said all became a blur as he processed that he had just lost the people who meant the most to him in a mere night. Over a million thoughts race through his head a minute. Where would he go? What would he do? How would he make it through this? He still had school to attend and fans stream for.
Tubbo quickly opened his phone and typed a speedy email to his school explaining that he would no longer attend, it's not like it was mandatory anyways… the only reason he even stayed was to please his parents but seeing the circumstances he's sure his parents wouldn't be too upset.
“Honey? Would you like to stay with me and your cousins or can I help you find somewhere else to stay if that's more comfortable? Marie carefully asks.
“I think i-i um would like to stay here, only for like a week, i just want to feel close to them” Tubbo said slowly, voice cracking.
“Okay sweetie, please give me a ring if you need anything at all i'm here for you.” she gives him another tight hug before bidding her goodbyes.
“Oh and one last thing, i know you love your whole streaming thing, but please don't push yourself, you know, my sister was always worried you'd pressure yourself too much take a break you deserve it” and with that she gave one last watery smile and closed the door gently.
Deciding to take his aunt's advice, he opened twitter and hit “new tweet”. “Going off the radar for a bit, stay safe.” His phone immediately His phone blew up with notifications overwhelming support from his fans found in he turned his phone on do not disturb"
His fans had gotten "tubbo support" "We love you tubbo” and much more trending on twitter in mere minutes It was too much for him
He got a message from Ranboo (he had him nice in "favorites'' so he could still message him even on do not disturb
"hey, you don't have to tell me about what happened but i'm here for you if you feel like talking”. Tubbo needed to get it off his chest so he told Ranboo everything, on Call.
He ended up sobbing into his hoodie sleeve while Ranboo processed and occasionally let out a few "you're okay"s and "let it out"s,
Tubbo let all of the scummy feelings he had pent up.
“hey Tubbo”
“Yea”
“Where are you gonna stay”

"you know I have multiple spare rooms you can stay with me in California if you want”`
Tubbo had forgotten that Ranboo had moved out of his parents house about a month ago. and with that being said it was 2 weeks later and he was on a plane on the way to Ranboos house.
