Chapter Text

Caroline's POV
It has been five months, since Nik proposed to me. Everything is perfect. Kat, Rebekah, Davina, and I have been planning the wedding. The theme is blue. Kat is my maid of honor, Bekah, and Davina are my bridesmaids. Elijah is Nik's best man, and Kol, and Stefan are Nik's groomsmen.

Today is when we are getting the dresses, and the boys are going to get their tuxes. The wedding is in three months. We decided to have the wedding in August. Davina, and Kol are dating, and are happy together. Stefan and Bekah are happy, same with Kat and Elijah.

Anyway, I woke up, and felt beside me to feel for Nik. But instead I am met with cold sheets. I heard him say, " Stay still, love."

I opened my eyes, and seen Nik sitting on the chair beside our bed. He was shirtless and just wearing his pajama pants. He was sketching. I said, " What are you sketching?"

He said, " You will see, another day."

I said, " Nik, what is it?"

He said, " You can wait to see it. I am not finished with it."

I said, " You can at least come back to bed, and finish it later."

He smirked and said, " You and the girls leave soon. You are going to have to get up sooner, not later."

I huffed. He put his sketch book down on the bedside table, and came over to me. He kissed my lips, and I deepened it. I pulled him onto the bed, and he was hovering over me. He pulled away, and said, " Caroline, we can't. Katerina, Davina, and Rebekah will be up here in a little while, once they realize you aren't downstairs."

I said, " I am seriously reconsidering your offer of going to Vegas and getting eloped."

He smirked and said, " I can have the jet ready within thirty minutes, and my siblings, or anyone else won't find out till we already took off."

I laughed, and someone said, " Nice try. I made sure you both won't be going and eloping anytime soon."

He said, " It seems they are here now."

He kissed my cheek, and collapsed on the other side of the bed. I pulled the sheet up to cover me, and there stood my four best friends, Kat, Bekah, Davina, and Stefan.

I said, " Stefan, what are you doing in here?"

Stefan said, " Oh, it's not like it's the first time, I walked in on you both in the morning."

I rolled my eyes, and said, " What are you guys doing in here?"

Stefan said, " I came to get Klaus. Elijah doesn't want to be late for the tailors."

Rebekah said, " We wanted to make sure you actually get your arse up, and not laying on bed all day."

Davina said, " Also, to make sure you both are still here, and not trying to elope."

Nik said, " Whats wrong with eloping? You don't even have to plan anything."

Kat said, " We already planned the whole damn thing in five months. Everything is set in stone, and the factions want to witness the wedding between the Original Hybrid, and the vampiric witch."

I said, " Give us ten minutes and we will be ready."

They nodded, and Kat said, " Ten minutes or I am going to keep you and Klaus away from each other till the wedding."

I said, " Really? You know we would find a way to be together. You can watch me forever."

Bekah said, " Between Kat, Davina and I. We can keep you away from him. Elijah, Kol, and Stefan can keep Nik away from you."

Nik said, " You know I can easily slip away from those three."

Davina said, " I can easily do a spell on the both of you, to not go near each other."

I said, " I can easily undo the spell. I am more powerful than you Davina."

Davina said, " Wanna bet?"

I smirked and Nik said, " No, we don't wanna see it. All of you, out of our room."

They left our room, and Nik looked at me. I said, " What?"

He said, " What are you twelve? Everyone knows you are the stronger witch, than anyone."

I kissed his lips, and the kiss grew heated. I straddled him, and I pecked his lips. I kissed his neck, and the bit his neck, with my normal teeth. He growled, and someone pounded on the door.

I said, " Vegas?"

He said, " Vegas."

I laughed and pecked his lips once more. I got off of him, and out of bed. I went into the closet, and put on my strapless pink dress with my pink heels. I walked out of the closet, and Nik was dressed.

I pecked his lips, and I opened the bedroom door. There was Kat. I said, " No need to pound on the damn door. We were getting up."

Kat said, " I have supernatural hearing, and can hear in your room. I'm not stupid. I heard growling, and if I didn't pound on the door, then things would've escalated and we never would've gotten the dresses, or the tuxes today."

I said, " Fine. I need blood then we can go."

She nodded, and all three of us walked downstairs. Kat stayed in the courtyard with Elijah, and the others. Nik, and I went to the kitchen. I grabbed two blood bags, and gave him the one. I drank the other, and he finished his. We walked to the courtyard, and Kol said, " So, we finally get to have a guys day. This is going to be fun."

I said, " What are you boys doing today?"

Elijah said, " Don't worry, Caroline. It won't be as bad, as Niklaus's bachelor party that's in 3 months."

I said, " Don't remind me, about that. Kol don't go over board with it."

Kol smirked and said, " When have I gone overboard with something."

Davina said, " I can name a few."

Kol said, " Let's go. We have to get those boring tuxes, and go have some real fun."

Nik said, " Goodbye, my love."

I said, " See you later. Have fun."

He smiled, and I pecked his lips. He went outside of the compound with the guys. Us girls went out of the compound.

Kat said, " Which car are we taking?"

I smirked and said, " We are taking Nik's."

I held Nik's keys in my hand, and Bekah said, " You didn't?"

I said, " I did. He shouldn't notice they are missing, while he is with the guys."

Davina said, " How did you even get them off of him?"

I said, " It's easy. It's called pick pocket. Let's go."

They smiled, and we went to Nik's black Jaguar. We got in, and I drove out of the city.

We went into the dress shop called, 'Beautiful bride.' We looked for the bridesmaids dresses first. After an hour, Kat got a cold shoulder, blue dress. Bekah got a blue dress, with a v neck. Davina got a blue, off the shoulder dress.

We then started looking for my wedding dress. After two hours, I found the perfect dress. It was a spaghetti strap, v neck, beaded, mermaid style dress. It was truly stunning. As we were checking out, I had collapsed on the ground, and everything went black.

Rebekah's POV
Caroline collapsed onto the ground. The few workers looked in worry. Kat said, " Get Caroline to the car. I will compel them."

I nodded. I picked Caroline up, and Davina grabbed the dresses. We went out to Nik's car. We put the dresses in the trunk, and I put Caroline in the back.

Davina said, " What just happened?"

I said, " I don't know. This is a first she ever passed out."

Kat came out of the store, and said, " How is she?"

I said, " She is fine, just passed out. Why would she pass out?"

Kat said, " I don't know. We should get home! And figure it out there."

I nodded, and said, " I will drive."

Kat said, " No, I am driving."

I said, " Nik will literally kill you, if he knew you drove his car."

She said, " Good point."

I got in the drivers seat, and Kat got in the back with Caroline. Davina got in the passenger seat. I then drove to the house.

Caroline's POV
I was inside of the courtyard of the compound. Esther was standing in the middle. 8 walked over to her, and said, " Why am I here?"

Esther said, " Something is coming. Something big."

I said, " What do you mean?"

She said, " Something powerful. I don't know what. I could feel the magic, so should you."

I said, " I didn't feel anything. I never passed out, when I came here, before."

She said, " You passed out because of the surge of power. Your magic felt the huge amount of power, and was trying to protect you."

I said, " I can go back, tho right."

She said, " You can. Your magic is trying to warn you of the big evil that is coming your way."

I said, " Alright. Anything else?"

She said, " No. Goodbye Caroline."

I said, " Goodbye, Esther."

I was then in the car, in the back seat. Kat said, " Are you okay, Care?"

I said, " Yeah. My magic was warning me."

Davina said, " Warning you of what?"

I said, " There was a surge of power somewhere, and the thing that caused it is coming our way. Esther said she doesn't know who it is. She just wanted to make sure I knew."

Bekah said, " My mother was there?"

I said, " Yes. It was one of those dream like things."

They nodded, and we drove to the house. We got out of the car. Bekah brought the dresses to her study, so Nik doesn't see my dress. We sat down in the courtyard, and talked.

An hour later, the Boys came into the house. Hands were slinging over each other's shoulders, and they were laughing. You could smell the booze on them. Each one had blood on their shirts.

They looked at us girls, each one of us had our arms crossed, and they stopped laughing. They walked over to us, and sat down. Elijah beside Kat, Stefan beside Bekah, Kol beside Davina, and Nik sat down next to me.

I said, " How drunk are yous?"

Nik said, " I'm not drunk. I can actually hold my liquor than that one."

He pointed to Stefan, and Stefan said, " I can hold my liquor, sometimes. I just chose to let loose."

Us girls laughed. Bekah said, " Since when do you let loose?"

Stefan said, " I do, sometimes."

I said, " Stefan, you never let loose. You are always so up tight, and always grooming your hair."

Kat said, " He always does groom his hair."

We all laughed. Stefan said, " So, what is it pick on Stefan day?"

I said, " No. We are just having fun."

Nik said, " So, is fun including taking my keys, and driving my car?"

Kat said, " Oh shit."

Davina said, " Busted."

I looked at Nik, and he raised his eyebrows at me. I said, " How did you even find out? I thought you were having too much fun."

He said, " I knew when you took them out of my back pocket, when you kissed me. You may be slick with others, but not with me."

He held out his hand, and I handed him the keys. I said, " Yes, I took your keys, and drove your car to the mall. But, Bekah drove it back here."

He looked to Bekah, and Bekah said, " That's only because Caroline passed out, and couldn't drive."

They all looked at me. Nik said, " What is she talking about?"

I sighed and said, " It was no big deal. My Magic was just warning me. Esther told me that there is something big coming our way, by the surge of power."

Elijah said, " You just now mention this?"

Stefan said, " Care, you should've told us, right away."

Kol said, " So, what she didn't tell us? She may have a reason. Dont you, darling?"

I said, " It's just not a big deal, about me passing out. No one knows what this thing is coming our way, but once it does we will be ready for it. For now, we should just continue to plan our wedding, and have some fun."

Kol said, " Not the reason, I was expecting, but it will do. I agree with Caroline."

Everyone else nodded. Nik said, " Why did you have to drive my car?"

I said, " We are still on that?"

He said, " Yes. You have your own car, Bekah has hers, Katerina has hers, and even Davina has a car. Why mine?"

I said, " I just felt like it. You let me drive it before, I wanted to take the girls for a ride in it."

Kol said, " Wait, he let you drive his car TWICE? I never even got to drive it ONCE!"

Nik said, " You crashed your Jaguar, so I am not letting you crash mine."

Elijah said, " I drove Niklaus's car."

Kol said, " Really? Elijah of all people! He drove it! Let me drive it at least once, Nik. That's all I ask."

Nik said, " No. You can drive it once I die."

Kol said, " That would be never."

We laughed. I got up, and went upstairs. I went into our room, and into the bathroom. I got a shower, then put on one of Nik's shirts. I walked into the room, and I sat on the bed. I opened the book, 'The Forbidden Game.' I read it.

A few minutes later, Nik came into the room, and went to the bathroom. Ten minutes later, he came out of the bathroom, in just his pajama pants, and no shirt. He came over to me, and grabbed the book out of my hands.

I said, " Nik. I was reading that."

He laid the book on the bedside table, and crawled onto the bed. He had a smirk on his face. He said, " What? That book isn't even that interesting."

I said, " It is interesting. It was getting to a good part, till you ripped the book from my hands."

He said, " It's a lame book."

I laughed. I said, " Whatever you say."

He leaned in, and I closed the gap between us. I connected our lips, and moved to straddle his lap. He flipped us, so he was hovering over me. He kissed my neck. I felt my fangs coming out, and I felt his double fangs rub against my neck.

I said, " Have at it."

He said, " Are you sure? We never blood-shared before."

I said, " It's fine. Do it."

He sank his teeth into my neck, and I sank my teeth in his neck. His blood was so good. After a few minutes, we stopped drinking from each other, and connected our lips. Things got heated even more.
