@sharmaworld: Anyone think we might be getting new Kate music soon? It’s been almost three years since her last album

@katespen: YES! Music is long overdue, I wish we had a release date so I can start a countdown

@cressisbest: I’ve really enjoyed not listening to new Kate music over the past while, Cressida is clearly more talented and y’all are stanning the wrong artist.

The air was heavy, but light. Filled with both of their scents, it had become familiar over the past few months.

‘I’m beginning to think my bed is keeping you away from making music,’ Anthony grinned down at her, caressing the side of her cheek, his other hand going straight to a loose strand of hair and pulling gently.

‘Don’t be ridiculous,’ Kate sighed, closing her eyes, ‘I’m working on it. Art takes time. No point in rushing. Besides I’m busy trying to raise Newton.’ She wound her arms around his neck, bringing him closer. The corgi was sat in the corner of the room, still fast asleep used to their antics.

‘Is that so?’ She nodded against him, ‘Well I can’t help with Newton as he never listen to me but I can ensure you are thoroughly inspired, Miss Sharma.’ Her shrieks of laughter filled the room as he flipped them over.

‘Well they do say inspiration can come in the strangest ways.’

SPOTTED: Kate Sharma spotted getting cosy with eligible Viscount Bridgerton

Well it seems we may have a new couple on our hand!

Kate Sharma, 26, was spotted last night at a local club. As the pictures show and witnesses confirm, the young popstar was very familiar with Anthony Bridgerton, a Viscount nonetheless.

‘They were being very giggly, stealing kisses, it definitely seemed like they had been together for a while rather than a first date.’ A witness told our reporter. The reporter has not been able to discern from sources how long the two have been seeing each other.

Fans have been wondering where Kate has been since the release of her last album, Traditions, in 2018. Perhaps the Viscount has been inspiring new music from her.

‘We should just ignore it,’ Kate stated, ‘Something else will come around that will interest people more. It always does.’

‘Kate,’ Anthony was watching her carefully, ‘We can ignore it for now but we can’t hide forever.’

‘Just not yet, a little bit longer of just us – that’s what I need.’

‘Okay,’ he said, bringing her closer Their noses touching ever so briefly, he sighed, ‘Whatever you need, Kate.’

Being like this, hidden away, it felt safe to her. Like no one could touch them, hurt them if they stayed away and kept their relationship private.

Or perhaps she was simply scared of loving someone publicly – why else would she not release the hundreds of songs she had written for him over the past couple of months? She was terrified of their love being public and judged.

‘You should’ve told us it was Kate Sharma you were seeing!’ Hyacinth was giddy with excitement, twirling around the Bridgerton sitting room ‘You know I love her music, perhaps we can get tickets whenever she does her next show!’

‘I’d like to go as well!’ Gregory had gone a bit red upon the discovery, having harboured a small crush on Kate since Hyacinth first blasted her debut album.

‘Let’s see if she sticks around that long,’ Colin stated, dodging a swipe from Anthony.

‘Yeah he might scare her off,’ Eloise stated, ‘She seems very career focused so maybe she’ll dump you.’

‘Don’t be ridiculous,’ he stated, ‘I can assure you I have no intention of letting Kate Sharma go and I believe her to feel the same way about me.’ His proclamation was met with silence for a beat,

‘Oh Anthony,’ His mother said, ‘I must say it is refreshing to see you so in love with a woman. I must insist we meet her straight away,’

‘Of course, mother, I will arrange an introduction as soon as possible.’

Benedict: How did you convince Kate Sharma to give you a chance?

Daphne: I WANT TICKETS! Simon also wants tickets but he’ll never admit it

‘What do Viscounts do?’ Edwina wondered, ‘I thought the idea had died out years ago.’ The Sharmas were sat in Kate’s living room, all squeezing into a sofa that was too small for the three of them but felt like home.

‘Well, it’s more of a title now than the responsibility it previously had,’ Kate stated, keeping her eyes on the page, ‘Anthony has many investments to preoccupy his time.’

‘Well, clearly level headed, that’s a good sign in a man,’ Mary stated, rubbing her arm.

‘Clearly not too busy to spend time with you,’ Edwina giggled, ‘Do you suppose he will join you on your next tour? It would be nice for you to have some familiar company around to relax you.’

‘Edwina!’ Mary scolded, ‘We can’t ask these things yet, especially since we have not met the man. Kate, I think you should arrange an introduction. I should certainly like to meet the man who has captured you.’

‘Oh,’ she said, looking up, ‘Well I’m not sure if he’s free, very busy, besides I’m still trying to decide what I want from this.’

‘I thought you said you had been seeing him for a couple of months,’ Edwina tilted her head, ‘Surely that is enough time to decide whether you are interested or not.’

‘Yes, well I’ve been busy, I do have an album to write you know.’

Kate Sharma sent her fans into a frenzy this morning announcing the title and track list of her third album, due out in a month. The album has been titled Call It What You Want , and the tracklist is as follows:

Kate was hyper aware the next time they went out. She felt as if all eyes on them when looking around most people were not paying them attention. She felt Anthony squeeze her hand,

‘I can hear your thoughts,’ he stated, bringing her hand to his lips, ‘Stop worrying, we’re going to have a great time like we always do.’

Kate sighed,

‘I know, it’s just whenever an album is about to release, I feel as if everyone is watching me. Waiting for me to fail.’

‘Well that won’t happen – not when I am clearly your muse.’ Anthony smirked at her, the smug expression having rarely left his face since the announcement.

‘Bold of you to assume they are about you,’

‘Oh am I to assume there is someone else? You must spend awfully little time with them considering how often you are in my company.’

‘Well I can’t seem too eager to new suitors,’ Kate stared into his eyes, both of them unwilling to yield until a sly grin came over Anthony’s face. A sign he was holding back laughter, and a giggle escaped her.

‘You truly are a menace,’ he said leaning in to steal a kiss –

‘I told you it was her!’ They turned to see two young girls standing not too far from them. The one who had spoken was looking directly at Kate.

‘Sorry to interrupt, very cute, but I just knew it was you and we’re such big fans Kate, could we get a picture?’

Kate was taken aback for a second before snapping into work mode,

‘Of course you can! What’s your names?’ She asked approaching them.

‘I’m Evie and this is my friend Anna.’ She was loading up the camera app on her phone when Anthony stated,

‘Here, I’ll take the picture for you guys.’

‘Oh thanks!’ Evie said, handing over the phone. Anna was still star struck but nervously said,

‘We can’t wait for the new album, I bet it’s amazing.’

Evie had come to her other side and while the picture was being taken, whispered to her,

‘He’s really cute,’ and dissolved into giggles. Kate couldn’t help but giggle along and agree.

‘Thank you! We’ll leave you to enjoy the rest of your date.’ Evie wiggled her eyebrows as Anna pushed her away.

‘They were sweet,’ Anthony stated coming to stand by her again,

‘Yeah,’ Kate’s smile had not left her face, ‘Yeah they were but I believe we had dinner plans.’

‘I’m such a big fan!’ and a body running straight towards her was what greeted Kate.

‘Hyacinth!’ Anthony was running shortly behind her, ‘Hyacinth you can’t just run at her.’

‘She was my favourite singer before she was your girlfriend Anthony!’ Hyacinth stuck her tongue out at him before turning back to her.

‘Why do you like him, Kate?’

‘Well he’s quite sweet when he wants to be,’

‘I guess so – I-‘

‘You must be Mary and Edwina,’ Anthony interrupted, ‘Lovely to meet you.’

‘Yes, lovely to meet you.’

‘Especially given how you seem to have captured my sister’s heart, I am most curious.’

‘Edwina, be nice!’

‘Oh Didi, let me have some fun.’ She said as they made their way into the sitting room to meet the remainder of the Bridgertons.

‘Kate! It’s – uh,’ the young boy was blushing, nervously wringing his hands, ‘I’m Greg, I think you’re really pretty.’ Kate giggled, noticing the look of disbelief on Anthony’s face.

‘Oh brother, seems like you may have competition.’ Colin’s joy was evident on his face, Benedict continued unable to stop himself joining in on teasing Anthony,

‘I would place my bet on Greg, he’s much more charming!’

Anthony was looking back and forth considering which one to hit first before whispering to himself,

‘I swear to God this family will be the death of me,’

Welcome Back Kate Sharma

As I step into the small North London café, Kate Sharma is hidden in the corner. She doesn’t stand out, she’s not trying to. She looks like any other girl, not a popstar who has been nominated for a Grammy and sold millions of records.

‘When I’m not promoting or touring, I like some semblance of normality,’ she says over a cup of coffee while discussing her upcoming album.

Does this normality a boyfriend?

‘I’m content with my life as it is,’ she says, dodging the question on boyfriends, ‘I’m not looking for anything new when I have everything I need.’

So not a denial but not a confirmation – I do wonder if Kate will ever confirm a relationship given her previous experience.

She previously dated actor Thomas Dorset in quite a public relationship that had a even more public fallout when he was papped cheating on her. Since then, there has been no mention or pictures of potential boyfriends. So this Viscount Anthony Bridgerton must be something special.

‘I can’t believe you are now a dad dog,’ Colin stated, watching as Newton waited impatiently by Anthony’s feet for a morsel of sausage.

‘Well I think if it was between Newton and Anthony, Kate would pick Newton,’ Eloise stated, not lifting her eyes from her book, ‘she would be right of course.’

Anthony grinned sarcastically at her before dropping a piece of sausage for Newton,

‘It’s okay, we’re coming to an agreement. Aren’t we boy?’ Newton was wagging his tail, his paws on Anthony’s knees in hope of another piece.

‘Well isn’t that the cutest picture I’ve ever taken,’ Colin was immediately on his phone, editing.

KATE & ANTHONY OFFICIAL?

Well, well, well, it seems as if the Bridgerton siblings have taken it open themselves to confirm the relationship when the couple have been silent. Colin Bridgerton recently posted a picture of Anthony Bridgerton cuddling with a familiar corgi. Kate Sharma fans will know that Newton was the only man in her life for a while and is considered a member of the Sharma family. The picture seems to indicate the two boys have found an understanding, perhaps of their love of Kate.

This author is intrigued to see whether the couple themselves will say anything.

‘Well, he has no filter, he just posts what he wants,’ Anthony said, wrapping an arm around her, ‘Besides it’s harmless.’

‘People take it as confirmation, Anthony,’ Her head was beginning to pound,

‘Confirmation of our relationship! What’s wrong with that? We’re dating.’

‘Maybe you should consider I don’t want to be public,’ Kate had risen, pacing the floor as Anthony watched her, before slowly saying,

‘I’m not saying we have to be public but I won’t hide this away, and lie to the world.’

‘Anthony-‘

‘No, I’m happy in this relationship and I don’t care what others say, Kate,’ he reached for her hand, ‘I know you’ve been hurt, but this is our chance. You know this relationship feels right.’

Kate: Hey Colin, I’m slightly uncomfortable with the picture you posted. Can you check with me before you post next time?

Colin: Sorry, didn’t realise! Since it was Newton I thought it would be fine

Kate: I just want to know and maybe you and your siblings can stop tweeting about this

Kate: I want to be private in this

Colin: I get the privacy but you are dating, no point in completely hiding it away

Kate: You don’t understand

Colin: No I don’t, if I had a relationship like you and Anthony, I would be screaming it from the rooftops

Kate: I’m not that kind of person so just check with me next time

‘I’m sorry, I had this last minute idea!’ Kate was in her kitchen, playing with Newton. Anthony paced the room,

‘You’ve had a lot of those over the past few days! In fact ever since that picture with Newton you’ve been blowing me and my family off.’

‘You’re reading too much into it, I do have a career to focus on you know.’ Kate stood up, she could see Anthony’s chest heaving. The crease in his brow pronounced as he looked at her,

‘I know that! You promised Greg, he waited for you, he was crushed! And you didn’t even bother texting him back,’ Kate raised an eyebrow,

‘I’m busy and I don’t think you get that, I-‘

‘You’ve always said you wanted this to work, we worked through your schedule when we first started dating. You made this last minute rehearsal because ever since that picture you’ve been scared. If you were spotted at that match, it would confirm everything and that terrifies you.’

Kate had had enough,

‘Yes, well maybe you should consider that, maybe I shouldn’t be put in this position, maybe this won’t work!’

Anthony scoffed, taking a step back,

‘You’re running away,’ she shook her head, ‘Yes, you’re terrified after your last relationship so you’re putting this wall between us.’

‘I think you should leave,’

‘I think you should consider how you treat the ones you claim to care about,’ Kate was silent refusing to give in. Anthony could tell she was at a breaking point and he knew that this terrified her. He wanted to run with her but she would push him away. She wanted to let him go so she could feel comfortable and despite his love for her, he was going to let it happen because he wanted her happiness.

Trouble in Paradise

Seems the relationship between Kate Sharma and Anthony Bridgerton was shortlived. They were both papped at the same event in Chelsea last night with their families. The Sharmas and Bridgertons seemed hell bent on ignoring each other, although one witness said she saw Colin Brigderton and Edwina Sharma having what looked like an intense conversation. Perhaps she has moved on to another brother?

‘I’ve never met anyone so unwilling to be happy as your sister,’ Colin had snuck up on her. The charity event had been an invitation she had accepted prior to Kate’s fight with Anthony and it didn’t feel right to pull out.

‘Hello, Colin,’ Edwina smiled, forcing it on to her face, ‘Thought you’d be busy liking tweets about my sister.’

‘Well, it was a moment of weakness, sometimes my anger gets to me.’ Edwina nodded,

‘How is he?’

‘Devastated.’ She closed her eyes, sighing softly.

‘Kate is devastated as well.’ She turned to look at him, ‘It was tough, what happened with Dorset. I think she’s terrified of being hurt again.’

‘So terrified she’d run away from a man who wants to do nothing but love her?’ Colin scoffed, ‘I’ll never understand that.’

‘Well, from what I understand, you may know quite a bit about running away from the one you love. Or are you not currently avoiding Penelope Featherington?’

Colin went bright red, ‘Well-I – That’s different!’

Edwina smirked, ‘Of course it is.’

The laughter rang through the room as Hyacinth beat Anthony in an intense game of Mario Kart. He threw his remote down, offering a congratulations to Hyacinth before heading to the kitchen.

‘I don’t think I’ve ever seen you play this badly,’ Benedict stated.

‘Yes, well sometimes I like to others win,’ Anthony responded, ‘Have to let you think you have a chance.’

‘Or your mind is preoocupied.’

‘Benedict-‘

‘On a certain popstar?’ Anthony sighed, he had avoided talking about her but the family could tell his mood had not been the same since.

‘Do you think I came on too strong?’ Benedict moved to stand next to him,

‘Partly. I think you’re right to be annoyed at her missing Greg’s game but I think we need to understand and respect her need for privacy.’

‘I do! I just- Greg was so excited,’ Anthony remembered the hours leading up to the match, Greg a bundle of nerves and excitement, ‘I’ve never seen him that disappointed.’

‘Maybe she needs to find her way of showing commitment to who she loves, it might look different to what we are used to.’

‘I didn’t think you’d come,’ Kate said, ‘After everything that happened.’ She was sitting in the corner of café, partly hidden and had been nervously stirring her coffee for half an hour.

‘Well, it’s not every day a pop star invites me for coffee.’ Gregory Bridgerton looked relaxed in the seat opposite her but his hands were wringing nervously in front of him.

‘I wanted to apologise,’ she said, taking his hand, ‘I made you a promise and I should’ve been there.’

‘It’s okay, you were busy and-‘

‘And nothing, I shouldn’t make a promise I can’t keep.’

‘You could come to my next game!’ He smiled shyly at her, ‘We’re playing in three weeks and –‘

‘I don’t think I’ll be welcome,’ Kate managed a small smile, not noticing a teen girl behind taking sly pictures.

‘Anthony would be happy to see you. He’s been so moody without you.’

‘Well, I’ll need to do something big to apologise, show him I love him.’

‘He’ll love anything you do because he loves you but if he doesn’t come to his senses, you know where to find me.’  Greg gave her a cheeky wink as she swatted his shoulder.

'yeah,' she said, her mind going somewhere else, 'I have an idea and I think you can help.'

Colin: Tea with Kate? What happened there Greg?

Anthony: Gregory Bridgerton.

Hyacinth: should probably wait to make a move on your brother’s girl

Anthony: Why are you having tea with Kate? What did you tell her?

Anthony: Answer me

Violet: Darling, Anthony is about to ruin my carpet, you should let him know what happened.

Kate’s breathing filled the corridor, knowing Anthony was behind the door, unsure of his reaction. She wasn’t certain she was ready but she knew she had made the right decision with the song. Newton was watching her directly by the door, having sensed Anthony’s presence. She moved forward, opening the door and turning away before she could see him. She sensed him entering, heard Newton barking in greeting and a soft hello boy from Anthony. In this moment, she had never felt so naked. Everything was out on the line.

‘Kate.’ His voice was measured, but with a hint of emotion. What she couldn’t tell, ‘Look at me Kate.’

She slowly turned, and was immediately mesmerised by the look in his eyes. A declaration of something pure between them.

‘Did you really write a song about me?’ She laughed slightly,

‘Anthony, the whole album is about you.’ He moved to take her hand,

‘Yes, well there were rumours the songs were about me.’ He sighed, bringing their foreheads together, ‘But this – this is a song that is undoubtly about me?’

‘Well, I like to make announcements differently.’

‘Wait – it isn’t a break up song right?!?’ She smirked at the panic in his eyes,

‘Do you think I would enlist Greg’s help to write a break up song for you?’ His eyes narrowed,

‘Greg would have encouraged it so that he could make his move.’ Her arms tightened around his waist,

‘He would’ve, just a shame I’m madly in love with his brother.’ He grinned, leaning into her lips,

‘I do think I deserve a private performance though.’ Her shrieks of laughter filled the hall.

‘I’m sorry,’ She sighed into his embrace, ‘I know I should’ve talked to you when it got overwhelming,’

‘Yeah, and I should’ve understood your need to be private.’ Anthony lifted his hands to her chin, ‘We both made mistakes but we can get through them.’

‘I can’t write a song to get out of every argument,’ Kate giggled,

‘I would like to hear songs about every mundane thing we do. Write one about us walking Newton.’

‘Anthony!’ He grinned at her, broad and completely open for her,

‘Back to being a dog dad?’ Benedict said, ‘Sometimes I think that’s why Kate keeps you around.’

‘Well I like being kept around,’ Anthony bit back,

‘Yeah we know you were miserable without her,’ Colin was lounging on a chair, a plate of biscuits in front of him.

‘Now, when you were going to tell me about this song, Gregory Bridgerton?’ Everyone turned to look at him as he flustered,

‘Well you know NDAs and all, can’t reveal anything secret,’ Anthony was grinning down at him, ‘I don’t want to ruin Kate’s career.’

Review: Call It What You Want

Kate Sharma’s third album was much anticipated. Despite the lead single being overtaken by a single not on the album, the crowd were excited.

I can safely say the album is a worthy continuation of her musical career. Anthony Bridgerton provides an incredible muse. The standout for me is ‘Afterglow’, a stunning love song that would’ve been her greatest song if she hadn’t released ‘Anthony’ recently.

The show itself was an intimate affair, attended by all the Sharmas and Bridgertons. All in matching Kate Sharma merch, reflecting songs on her new album. Although Greg and Anthony were both wearing merch around “Anthony’ which seemed to amuse Edwina and Colin.

We weren’t expecting it due to the album tracklisting but Kate did perform ‘Anthony’ and it felt just as lovely and wholesome live as it did on record.

Kate Sharma: In Conversation

It would be hardpressed to find someone who had a better career than Kate Sharma in the past three years. Upon the release of Call It What You Want, she found herself thrust into super stardom. Her song 'Anthony' has become one of the most popular songs of the last decade, and won Miss Sharma her first Grammy.

It was surprising therefore to find myselg being invited in and finding a normal home. No ostentatious displays of wealth. The small house in London looked like a normal couple's home - lived in, an embroided dogs bed in the corner that looks like it had hardly been used since the owner was sound asleep on the sofa.

'I want this to be a home, somewhere to feel safe, you know,' Kate said as she showed me around, 'especially with such a big family, it gets busy and we want to be comfortable.'

The reference to family naturally includes Anthony's seven siblings and their respective spouses. There is a wall calendar on the side of the fridge with their names on it indicating the comings and goings of the Sharma-Bridgerton clan.

It is clear their world are intertwined, many fans are eagerly awaiting an engagement and a wedding, keen to see the so-called Kanthony locked down.

'Well,' Kate said coyly, 'I have no comment on that.' One must note there is an intricate pattern of Mendhi on her arms and feet. Quite stunning, when looking closely, one can see the word Anthony is a corner but Kate is quick to change the subject before I could ask the meaning.
