Eli Sanders went into hiding after realizing harry wasn't talking out of his ass they later found out through Charlie one of the few people they kept contact with along with Barnaby that bill was getting married Not being invited because no one knows where he is he decided he was going to crash the wedding But the death eaters crashed bills wedding before he could (maleficent style no curses) so with his messagener bag(like newt Scamanders) filled with his most violent fucks/affectionate he heads to the battle of Hogwarts Eli Sanders on the battlefield at the battle of Hogwarts when he recognizes two faces he'd only seen in pictures they had looked much younger in the photos but it was undeniable that those were his Barnaby's parents on the same side as the first war without hesitation he uses the Cruciatus Curse with the simple words of "this is nothing compared to what your son went through " he then burn the corpses nothing but their death eater masks were found After the battle he's looking for Tonks when they learn about her passing causing them to spiral deeper into the denial of two of his friends deaths "there's no way she's dead it has to be a prank " Eli repeated over and over as they collected their creatures and headed home only sticking around enough to say goodbye to professor sprout
