I feel like the concept of this work might be a little off-putting without a proper explanation. And even then you might not like it so I just want to clarify a bit :)
I have a headcanon that Sniper is really in tune with his senses, it’s a part of his job and scent isn’t excluded from that. Because of this he picks up on scents really easily, meaning he’s acutely aware of the way people smell.
So the idea here is that Sniper is hyper aware of the way you smell, specifically your perfume choice. Because you’re not in an established relationship, he’ll catch whiffs of your perfume and just feel like he’s being teased and tempted. Even though he knows it’s not for him (or is it (; ) he’ll still allow himself to fantasize about you and the way you’d smell if he got to be closer to you.
I also think that he’s a bit lonely, making him feel a bit deprived especially when it comes to anything involving his senses. Again I feel because of this he’s hypersensitive to your scent as well as your touch! It takes very little to get him going and he often finds himself having to make an active effort not to act inappropriately.
