Betrayal

Summary:

A rewrite of Scott's Episode 9: "Afterlife SMP - Ep.9 - Evil Incorporated Begins...." (spoilers for later chapters) including more drama-inducing dialogue, Scott nearly burning to death in morbid detail, Sausage being a platonic simp for Scott to the point where it's kinda uncomfy, and Shubble fearing for her life.

Yay, Suffering! :D /hj

Notes:

This chapter is the beginning of the episode.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: The Beginning.

Chapter Text

Scott paced around the bottom floor of his manor, bored out of his mind. Maybe he could check on his villagers? He wondered. The vampire sighed, rubbing one of his crimson-colored eyes, causing his mascara to smear a bit. He’d have to fix that in a moment. He walked gracefully up the staircase and to his bathroom. Unlike the average vampire, he could see himself in the mirror. He could also do another thing that normal vampires couldn’t. He didn’t burn in the sun, surprisingly.

He unscrewed the cap of the mascara, before gently applying it to his eyelash. He blinked a bit, before putting the makeup back where he had stored it originally. Scott took a long look at himself.

His pink sclera and red irises were his most prominent features, as well as his dagger-like canines that poked out from his mouth even when it was closed. Similar to a sabertooth tiger, except, you know, he’s not a sabertooth tiger.

He rummaged through his makeup drawer afterwards, before pulling out some cherry red lipstick. It didn’t hurt to look fabulous everyday was his motor, after all.

Once his makeup was finished and touched up to look just right, he headed downstairs to head outside. Once he did the sun seemed awfully brighter, maybe even hotter. Oh well, nothing an all-mighty vampire like himself couldn’t handle, he told himself.

He stepped onto the dirt path and winced as the sun hurt his eyes a bit. He continued walking until he arrived near the iron farm at the center, and then he began to think.

Well, a lot of his villagers were useless, he came to realize. Maybe, since Gem was no longer a villager, he could snatch a few ones that she had traded with, and then just….eat the useless ones?

That sounded like a good plan, he concluded. He started a stride, with a few leaps, towards Gem’s former village.

Chapter 2: Gem, the robot, protector of the village.

Summary:

Haha, I decided to make another chapter-

Warning: Somewhat graphic descriptions of feeling pain from being burnt.

Chapter Text

Scott tried his best to sneak past the iron golems to get to the villagers, but stopped in his tracks when he saw someone. Gem!? What was she doing here? Hadn’t he killed her? She wasn’t a villager anymore, so why was she here?

“Gem?” He asked in shock. “Scott?” She approached the vampire with a stern gaze. “What are you doing here.” She more said than asked. She didn’t seem happy with him. “Well, I just came to….you know..steal a villager or two..” His gaze shifted to the side mischieviously.

“You certainly will not be doing that!” Gem placed her hands on her hips, scrunching up her nose with anger. “Why not? You aren’t even a villager anymore.” He gave her a pout, trying to maybe get her to give into his desire of stealing a resident of the village.

“Just cause I’m not a villager, doesn’t mean I’ll immediately stop protecting them! Hell, even if I was selfless enough to give you my blood, I don't have any.” She glared right into Scott’s slit pupils with resentment. “Yes, I can tell.” His nose scrunched up with disgust at the smell of oil. “But that is not what I come for. I merely wish to bring one home!” He gave a grin, as if that was better than the latter.

“Whatever. If you even dare to mark one of my villagers, I won’t hesitate to zap you!” She crossed her arms. “Zap me?” He chuckled. He didn’t take what she said seriously, so he marked the nearest villager.

“Scott!” She shrieked, a line of burning light piercing his arm. Scott shrieked, backing away, and gagging from the burning sensation. “I told you. Hands off.”

“Okay! Okay! Fine!” He gagged, nearly collapsing backwards. His back was pressed against the gate to the village. His skin burned, a similar sensation to holding your hand on a grill and putting grease on the burn. He wanted to scream in agony, but now was not the time. He winced, when had he looked down? He looked back up at Gem.

“Could you atleast trade with me then, since you won’t let me take one of the villagers?” He gave a sheepish smile, purposefully showing his fangs in an attempt that maybe he’d intimidate her.

“Fine, what do you want?” She asked. “Books, Enchanted books.” He gave a slight gag at the still lingering feeling of burning flesh. “Okay, follow me.”

Chapter 3: The Trade pt.1

Summary:

Just a small chapter, since it's 4:00am-

Chapter Text

The two entered the building, Scott still clutching at his arm. He’d have to take a look at the wound once he returned home. As they entered, Scott spoke. “The sun seems a bit hotter than usual. Is that just me?” Gem looked behind her and thought for a brief second. “Just you I guess.” She turned back around and strode into the building. “So, what kind of books were you looking for?”

Scott was shown several chests of different enchantments. Maybe while she wasn’t looking he could…. snatch an extra..?

While she turned to some different chests in the corner, he opened the one with the looting books and snatched one swiftly. “Protection.”

Gem nodded, reaching into the chest that presumably had the protection books within it. “How many?” Scott looked around for a brief second. “First, what are you looking for in return? I presume this is not a free handout.”

Gem perked up at the comment, and looked at the vampire. “Oh, right. Do you have any quarts to spare? I’ve gotten into tech recently, and I need some to start on my first project.” Gem closed the chest and turned to face the whitenette. “I might have some, let me go back and check.” He turned to the door and gracefully strode off. Gem nodded, folding her arms and waiting patiently.

Notes:

I wish I looked half as hot as ALSMP Scott does 😔
Istg, unrealistic beauty standards for men

Anyways, hope you liked this! This was my first attempt at anything Minecraft related, so I hope it was decent!

Also I am so sorry for not posting for a while, my brain melted and had to be re-refrigerated-
