Zenitsu felt himself getting tired of waiting underneath the wisteria trees wondering if his boyfriend of three years, Genya Shinazugawa. The blond remembered that when they first met it wasn't the best first impression for both sides with both of them not being able to stand being near each other. It also didn't help they were from different groups Zenitsu with the nerds and Genya with the delinquents but soon things changed between them from two people who can't tolerate each other to somewhat of a friendship with often eating lunch together this toleration soon became of that of friendship with them softening up to each other and often talking and hanging out with each other.
Zenitsu chuckles as he quickly snapped the feeling of him reminiscing about the friendship he made with Geneya when he felt the wind blowing. The blond then adjust the purple hoodie that Geneya had given him on their first anniversary this now caused him to remember how he got a crush on the raven-haired male. It happened when Gneya had saved him when he got into a fight with a few delinquents and needed help fast. Genya also helped him get patched up as that moment made him develop feelings for him as they watch a movie after receiving a bit of a lecture telling him to never do that again. The feelings developed more during their first year of college and soon started to reminisce about how he confessed to the raven-haired male underneath the wisteria tree while they were spending some time together. He smiled at the thought of all the memories that happened with Genya as he waited.
The smile soon faded when he saw the time getting later and although he wouldn't want to admit it his faith was starting to fade but soon he heard the melodic heartbeat of his boyfriend. Zenitsu quickly rush over and gave Genya a hug as the raven softly runs his fingers through the blond's hair as soon the blond started to ramble saying he got so worried about him and in a moment that felt like it was out of romance novel or anime. genya takes a deep breath and for down on his knees and said"Marry me, Zenitsu. I love you and that's all I really know." The blond cries tears of joy as he said yes as gave Genya a kiss as they enjoy the moments between them as the memories from their first meeting to now lead to this budding feeling of joy in the next chapter in their life.
