Bruce shook his head no, gently but firmly. Jim Gordon may be one of Batman's closest allies and someone he has a blind faith in, he won't... straight-up inform him he grew closer to Edward Nashton he watches over. To the point he considers Riddler a true friend, someone he developed... strong feelings for.
He won't tell him either, that they non-officially 'adopted' baby Stephanie Brown after working on a case involving her father. The newborn lives at their shared place with them since then.
