Coming to terms

Chapter Text

Ginger Foutley, Elizabeth 'Eliza' Thornberry and Regina 'Reggie' Rocket had been in the trio dorm room since freshman year. The three girls clicked rather fast, and had worked out a routine that worked for all three of them. Eliza, who was majoring in Zoology and Wildlife Veterinary and minoring in telecommunications, had mostly early morning classes that stretched until late afternoon. Ginger was majoring in Journalism and minoring in psychology, her classes ran from mid morning to early evening. Reggie was majoring in Journalism as well, but adding in information technology as part of a double major, and had classes running from mid morning to mid afternoon.

It was a Saturday and Eliza stretched herself out, saving her work for one of her Zoology teachers. Her ocean blue eyes landed on the lizard that the three girls had adopted, it was already decided that upon graduation, Reggie would take it home to Ocean Shores. A yawn made the red head turn to see the Sheltered Shrubs native stretching out.

"Morning," Ginger mumbled to her fellow red head.

"Morning," Eliza returned the greeting, "How long do you think it will be before the Rocket is awake?"

Ginger gave an amused huff, "Probably by the time I get out of the bathroom."

The chapters are going to be rather short and as inspiration hits to update.

Chapter Text

Eliza hummed thoughtfully as Bennett scuttled around on the table, "You know you could send word with-"

Eliza gave a smile to the lizard, "Come now Bennett, you and I both know that Pigeons are horrible gossips."

Bennett climbed up Eliza's sleeve to perch on her shoulder as he caught her scrolling though a photo reel, "Who are they?"

The photo showed Eliza standing shoulder to shoulder with two kids with dark red hair, both having green eyes, one set emerald the other set grass. Eliza and the girl were laughing at the boy's puckered expression. Both the other kids were wearing a pendent, the girl had one that looked like an ebony bird skull, and the boy had one that looked like a set of talons.

"A couple of my friends. My mom and their mom were high school friends. Danielle is the girl and Patrick is her twin brother, thick as thieves those two," Eliza chuckled with a shake of her head, "They are attending college in another state."

Bennett licked his eyeball, code for one of the other girls was awake. With Ginger in the shower that left Reggie. Sure enough after a few moments the purple haired young woman came stumbling into the area, yawning and rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

"Morning Reggie," Eliza greeted.

"Coffee?" Reggie returned.

Eliza laughed, "On it's hot plate."

"Thanks," the California native mumbled.

Bennett made eye contact with Eliza and they agreed to continue the conversation later.
