I'm standing here and crying. I don't know what to do, I can only cry. I'm standing at my only friend's grave, who had died a only a few days ago. I can hear the adults talking, but I'm not paying attention to them. I'm thinking about my friend. I'm thinking about how we used to have fun together as best friends who looked like you couldn't separate no matter how hard you tried. yes it looked like that, but i guess it wasn't true. he left me. I'm all alone.
....
I'm standing in a field. he is in front of me. he suddenly turns to me and says:
"Its time for me to go."
"Don't go!" I cry out, "I don't have anyone else but you!"
"Its not exactly like that, you could always make new friends."
I think of a dozen reasons why I can't make new friends, but I don't say anything. I go to him and hug him tightly.
"I'll miss you so much" I sob into his hold.
"I'll miss you too." He says "I think it's better if I go now. i dont have much time left."
He turns to the mountains and starts walking.
"Goodbye!" I shout and start crying once again. I stand there as tears stream down my face, watching my friend until he disappears into the trees at the foot of the mountain.
....
I open my eyes. My heart fills with sadness, remembering the dream I had as I lay on my bed. memories of me and my friend flash before my eyes.
I never want to forget these moments with him. Every second that I spent with him is treasure to me. I swear on my life I wont forget him.
