Chapter Text
As the grand clock struck 3 on the grand clock that is in the center of the plaza, 3 figures appeared in front of the 6, 9, and 12 numbers on the clock at midnight.
The first materialized in front of the 12. A red portal, its hue dark but bright at the same time, with flames flowing from the inside of the portal. Magma swirling on the inside with a hole in the middle from where the figure stepped out of. A red platform materialized below him as he stepped out of the portal.
The second appeared in front of the 9. Their portal was book shaped, with the pages as they came out of it, which radiated a pinkish white hue. Small light pink words were coming from the pages of the portal, making it seem like the words were being taken off of the page and were blossoming out into the sky. A pinkish white paper materialized below them as they stepped out of the portal.
The third appeared in his place in front of the 6. Greatly unique compared to the others so far. His portal seemed to be in the shape of a circle, however each small section of the circle are the different eras that happened in the past. A light blue hue surrounded the portal with intangible cloth floating around. A cloth of blue and pink materialized below him as he stepped out of the portal.
They all looked at where the 3 was and seemed to be waiting on something, or even someone, with anticipation.
One minute.
4 minutes.
7 minutes passed and nothing still had arrived in that spot...
The guy who had come through the red hue portal spoke up. “So, you guys were bashing me about being late or saying I would forget but I was the first one here. It’s ironic right,” he said as he crossed his arms in a sort of I told you so type pose. He had a basic outfit; it being black shorts and boots with a long black sweatshirt with the right sleeve cut off all the way. On his right arm, his veins went all the way down to his hand being a mix of orange and red magma flowing through his blood. A sword with a black and red hilt rested on his hip, thanks to the sword belt, with a black bowtie resting on the hilt of the sword.
“That is ironic Vastum. Perhaps we might have underestimated the time management skills he had,” the guy from the blue portal said. He lifted his steampunk-esque goggles from his eyes, them being aqua in color, and lifted them onto his head. His outfit was a mix of different eras with a clear bias shown for the Steampunk/Victorian Era. His top was that of a pirate’s look with a slightly opened dress shirt over a white shirt. Black pants with a relatively medium length white cloth coming from the right pocket along with white boots outlined with gold. A black jacket is wrapped around his waist with a black bowtie on an arm jacket.
“Wasn’t he even the one who told us he was going to be the first one here? What happened to that,” the third person said as they chuckled through saying each syllable of the sentence. Their outfit consisted of a whitish pink from their white cloak around their neck to their pants. Their dress shirt was pink, which made the outfit pop more. The shoes were white boots having a milky way on the sides of it. A flower crown with purple, white, and pink was nested on their hair with a small pink flower as a hairpin underneath. A book with a galaxy cover rested in their right hand, grasped tightly. A black bowtie rested on their upper arm hidden from view with their white cloak.
Another 5 minutes passed and no signs of the supposed fourth member that was going to come.
“Okay. What is this, like where is he,” Vastum said aggressively, not really towards anyone but to the air.
“Jester said, 'Oh Tramet and Clađ, I’ll be there first you don’t have to worry about me,’ Don’t worry about me my ass,” Vastum said mockingly to himself, pacing around on the red platform.
“Okay okay, maybe something happened to him. Let’s at least give him that benefit of the doubt,” Tramet said they readjusted their flower crown.
“Really I don-,” as Vastum was cut off from what saying what he was going to say as there was a loud crack sound coming from about 45 feet in front of them.
They all become silent and don’t talk for a minute or two, but as they start to gather their words to say out loud, another loud crack sounded out. This time, a tear in space with red sparks flying out, was seen opening itself more and more about 255 feet away from them. All 3 were puzzled and confused as to why that tear was there in the first place. They all knew that couldn’t happen.
Unless...
